    This is 1 of the best Captain America figures I've ever seen.

    I own this figure but I don't know I'm brave enough to try this pose!

      I don't recommend leaving it that way for a long time. Hit the pose, grab a photograph of it, then return his feet to terra firma. Or borrow a flight stand from another figure, if you have that option available to you. (For this video series, we limit our poses to what's available with the figure. But you're welcome to find more stable options that should give you a more permanent and stable display.)

    Great job, Terry. I think I like the last pose the best. Cap about to throw his shield.

    This body is so much more accurate proprtion-wise than every other Cap figure before it. I'm betting they just use the standard one for Endgame 🙄

      It's not the figure itself, it's the costuming on top. But I know what you mean, he generally looks a bit puffy, until this version. I'm really considering picking this up.

      Thank you. That's a generous evaluation. I'm not sure I'm worthy, but I'll keep trying to measure up.

    Great video commentary. One of my best purchases, looking forward to getting The Civil War version of Winter Soldier and The Falcon (it'll be cool if Hot Toys comes out with a Concept Version) in giving that Classic Marvel setting. Happy New Year.

    I cannot decide whether I want to purchase this Captain America immediately, or wait for the Endgame Captain America that is still yet to be released. I must say that the black on this Captain America is very boss looking.
    Can anyone give me a suggestion here? If I do decide to purchase the endgame Captain America later on...assuming it has not sold out by then...this will be the only Captain America figure I have. So for a collector like myself looking to have that one Captain America figure in my collection, is this a decent choice?
    I have seen videos where the endgame Captain America has tiny buckles compared to the straps he is wearing, and his chest is too large. This looks like this version has much better body proportions in comparison to the endgame, am I correct on this?

    Great advice, fantastic pose, but how long does it take for the balance or stand(wire)to shift and the figure falls forward. I still have my classic monsters collection from the time sideshow start producing them. Came with flat foot holder stands for only one of the feet. In time regular vibration, figure shift while in a certain position made the figure fall. Since then of course you buy the 1/6 scale u hook standard stand you can pick up just about anywhere and use. Imagination is always the key, and great vids give you many ideas, but for this figure just include the dynamic stand, you can do just about anything with them.

    Hey Terry awesome video as always! I just got my 1st hot toys figure and I’m kind of scared to pose him (tactical suit Batman). How can I get over this fear of ripping the suit! Thanks!

    • @PosemasterGeneral
      @PosemasterGeneral 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can't. The fear of ripping anything...suits, farts, the fabric of space and time...will always be a personal thing with which only you can contend. Having said that, you should only push your figure so far as you feel comfortable.

      If my own experience is any indicator, then you're most likely correct. Proceed with caution.

    Nice pose BUT, to me, it's too risky, specially because it can fall to the ground and break . That thing cost a lot, so guys...don't do that.

      Most of us keep our figs in a detolf case so they don't have very far to fall
