Need to come up and visit some of the distilleries in Iowa - Mississippi River Valley Distilling, Cedar Ridge Distilling, Lonely Oak Distilling, Foundry Distilling among others.
Great video! Thank you for putting it together! So informative for people like me that live outside of KY. Woodinville is a fav for me on the craft front. Appreciate you guys!
Thanks so much for sharing those interviews with us. I enjoyed learning about some of the smaller craft distillers. Going to hunt down one or two locally to taste.
I am excited that Old Smokey is now offering a Bourbon, James Owenby. I AM A BIG FAN! I live in the Knoxville area, and I am able to pick it up in Gatlinburg at the distillery! VERY TASTY!! However, I did notice the last time I was in Total Wine that they had it on the shelf. GOOD STUFF!!
I’m down here in Beaumont, Texas and about to open a place- thank you for the info the time you put in! About to head to Kentucky for a state wide tour!
Haven't finished watching the whole video, but at this point, the question was asked what would be the only thing that would make this video better?? Well my answer, which has nothing to do with Bourbons, but in keeping with your theme of a couple relaxing at home, the only thing to add would be your dog up on the couch with you too, just chillin'! As you may have noticed on TV, a lot of commercials have pets involved, which gives them that special "aww" factor. (Note the Budweiser, puppy-horse combination.) In your case, even though you both are cute enough, your pup would add another factor of cuteness, especially because he (she) would be interacting with you two for real, just like you were not Media Stars!
She was just off camera for this one chewing loudly on a bone that we had to take away for a few minutes. She wasn’t too happy with us until we gave it back!
Great video! Super high quality on the video and editing. Will keep an eye out for some of these for sure. Cheers Chad and Sara! (February will be here soon!)
Thanks for sharing Chad and Sara! It’s great to get to know theses KY Craft distilleries. There are so many great craft distilleries across the US producing such interesting whiskies it’s amazing to think what might available in the next 5 years as all those barrels age?
Love the small craft distilleries from all over our great country. Everyone one has their own expression of their favorite booze and it's made with personal love. I'm not normally a rye guy but Thirteen Colony, America's Georgia makes the only rye I like.
Now I really want to go the Bourbon Festival this year. Peerless and Penelope are two favorites, but it's even better to see some brands that are new to me. I'll keep my eyes peeled for them.
Wait Chicken Cock uses WV barrels? I paused and did some reading and they get their barrels from the cooperage less than 5 miles from me. Shit... another bourbon I have to try
Hi guys, Johnnie T. from VA again. Can you tell me what is involved in a barrel-pick for a member? Do we join you at a distillery to help sample and choose a barrel, or do you pick and bottle and ship out? Just curious because we cannot legally receive any whiskey by delivery, other than by the state-controlled ABC board.
Luca, Peerless, and RD1 sounds like some great craft distilleries.. All of the other distilleries on this list are sourced, how do you define what is a craft distillery and what is not? Is it just that they "identify" as a craft distillery so you call them one? All of the craft distilleries I've been to here in WA are grain to glass style distilleries where they do their own distillation, hence the name distillery.... I didn't think you could be called a craft distillery if you didn't distill your product. Could you please break it down why you a call someone who sources their whiskey a craft distillery? Thanks, and great video! Cheers
It varies depending on the different distribution deals they all have, but I would do like Penelope Bourbon suggested and use the store locator on each distilleries site to see if they are found in your area.
Last time I was in one of my locals (Kock's, Wichita Falls, TX) they had rows of three different Penelope and I see Peerless on occasion. Wilderness Trails is everywhere.
Great video! It just solidifies my need to go to The Kentucky Bourbon Festival. Probably not a big surprise to you, my favorite Craft Distillery is Old Pogue. I'm really enjoying the new bottlings of old family recipes that they are distilling on one of the coolest properties. Can't promote them enough.
favorite craft right now...Redwood Empire; specifically the Lost Monarch.
Starlight, Starlight, Starlight!

You’re welcome!
Corsair.....I bought a Ryemageddon pick from Cork Dorks Midtown in Nashville about 4 years ago. Epic bottle. Like nothing I have ever had before.
Triple Smoke and their Quinoa experiment are worthy of a taste as well.
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome!
Great video. Can’t wait to seek these out. Love all things Penelope!
That's some great acting Chad! That suitcase looked heavy!!
Thanks so much for sharing those interviews with us. I enjoyed learning about some of the smaller craft distillers. Going to hunt down one or two locally to taste.
Great video! My favorite so far is Cooper’s craft, Wilderness Trail, and Penelope.

My favorite craft distillery has to be Chattanooga Distillery. Did their tour and tasting a few weeks ago. I loved the 111 Cask and the 99 Rye..

Wow this was a great video. Can't wait to see all of them on a local shelf here in Arizona.

Meet Berry very recently. Super excited about what they have coming now and in the future.
Chattanooga, their bottled in bond is amazing
Great video! Love this type of content.
Must say, the Luca Mariano signature that just released is an absolutely monster of a bottle

Just got a signed Clyde Mays single barrel 5 year, never heard of it until we moved to ala, pretty good, cant find out much about it though
Middle West Spirits and High Bank Distillery, both in Columbus, Ohio, are killing it right now! #drinkohiobourbon #drinkmorebourbon
I've had the peerless small batch...its decent. There's SO many craft distilleries; there's no way to try them all, but trying to is the fun part!
Wait Chicken Cock uses WV barrels? I paused and did some reading and they get their barrels from the cooperage less than 5 miles from me. Shit... another bourbon I have to try
I have actually tasted the Penelope - it is a light drinking bourbon

Stupid question but, can we get any of these in TX?
