Thank you for the beautiful video! Watching your video halfway, I suddenly realized this is the place I visited decades ago, traveling as a student in Tibet. It has been 25 years since my last visit to Sakaya, and it is great to see it so timelessly beautiful and maintain its unique culture. The dark-gray-colored walls are just exactly like before. The locals who worked in the monastery are just like those I met. I wish I could come back someday and visit its library. Tashi Delek!

Jamyang la, thank you for showing the ancient city of Sakya and explaining about the city and its monastery. My grandmother's hometown is near this city. Next time, would you mind showing us Tingkye and Zar county which are near Sakya city. They are within the Tsang region. Zar county is where my father is from. All our family and relatives will be so happy to see these two counties. So far, we have not seen any TH-cam videos made on these two counties. We salute you and your team for showing and guiding us to the different part of Tibet. 🙏🙏🙏
Why don‘t you and your family just get a visa and flight tickets to visit Tibet by yourselves? Its all worth it. Tibet received about 12 million tourists in 2023, its nice and easy for travellers.

The altitude is not a problem. By the time you get to Sakya etc. you’ll be sufficiently adapted! Perhaps a little uncomfortable at first 😉
