Yes, this is true. People think Bali is very crowded with tourists but they don't know how about West Bali. West Bali is empty of visitors. Tourists only visit the regencies in the south & north only. I live in Banyuwangi Regency (neighbor to West Bali). I always visit west Bali (Jembrana, West Buleleng) cause it's not crowded, not many vehicles, very quiet. I hope the districts in West Bali can improve so they can compete with Badung & other districts. It's not that West Bali isn't attractive, it just needs a little improvement to make it look attractive to both local & foreign tourists. Maybe you're the only TH-camr who came to west Bali. I am happy 😊

I am staying in Negara right now, Bali is vast. Unfortunately, since 2000, tourism and business destinations have been more centered on Denpasar and Badung. Even the Bedugul area, which was once crowded, has minimal visitors. especially Jembrana which takes 3 hours drive from the airport. Hopefully it will improve soon and the visitors will be evenly distributed.

Nice Adam, thanks for sharing. I'm going to Bali for the first time in a few weeks, and similar to you I was looking around at different areas on the island and researching them. It's mindblowing how little documentation there is of some places, either on youtube, wikipedia or just general articles. Makes it a lot more exciting and brings back some of that sense of exploration/adventure!
Great footage, looks like a beautiful place.

Just a tips, you are tall guy, perhaps you would consider changing bike to Yamaha Lexi, it suits your posture better imo.

I'm from Jakarta but now live in Bali. There are not many places that can be visited because I am a disabled person who uses a wheelchair. It is still difficult to find a place that is accessible for wheelchair users. I try to follow your journey who knows it can be a recommendation for me ☺️
