OMG. This is without a doubt the most spectacular and beautiful tree I've ever seen done. Only one better is mother nature herself!! The tutorial was awesome. The only thing you might do next time is give the description of each brush and how it's going to be used.. Also why its being used now instead of the one that has been being used .. That tree should be in a museum..lol lol. I love the colors you chose when building the layers up. Absolutely beautiful!! Thank you so much for this lesson..

Amazing painting I liked the falling leaves effect of the end and also the overall contrast of colours is amazing, good highlights for the bark and the sunlight effect as well as the new leaves with brighter colours contrasting with the maturing leaves

To all the viewers want to know what brand of paint he's using, I found a pic of his supplies on his blog (see here: acrylic-painting-techniques.com, and scroll to the bottom). The brand is "3d Heavy Body Acrylic Paint", but I don't think you can find it in U.S. stores.
Tried this one too, it isn't that great cause maybe the tree is a little too big in my canvas but still i think i did pretty good, thank you once more!
Hello, Brazil. I've been studying your videos and I want to first say that your art is like magic to me. But most importantly I wanted to ask when you start to paint a tree, is your brush completely saturated with water so that point is finest and you are able to thin out the branches? Secondly when you paint the third layer of branches with the tip of the brush, is the brush dry? And third what is the name of the thick acrylic paints that you use?
Can you please provide brush sizes that you use to create furry effect for leaves? I have tried every single brush in my collection and all they do is create a blob of colors. Would really love to recreate your cherry blossom trees for mother's day canvas! Thanks so much!!
