Hi, first of all great video-thank you a lot for it. May i ask if the sound diffusion actually works with it? Did you measure the outcome (before and after)?
man that is a pretty wicked looking sound reflector, literally looks like 2 waves colliding. My grandfather left me a lot of rare kiln dried ruff cut hardwood lumber, & i just took some of the black walnut & cherry & hickory to the the lumbar mill for plaining. I do believe that i will use some of it to make sound diffusers in this big old wood house.. from your schematic - Thank U!
Justin Upchurch nah, I haven’t really seen much else on wooden sound diffusers, and I’m basically building them for the art. But I’ve seen some crazy pieces. Google “parametric wall”

Rose Mary Caldero thanks and welcome to the channel! I’m pretty sure I mention every measurement in the video? It’s been a couple weeks sent I built it so I don’t remember lol just make everything whatever size you feel like, it’s art, you can’t mess up!

You’re correct. Intricately random patterns create the best diffusion by sending upper mid and higher frequencies in different directions rather than directly back towards the listener.
