It’s insane how much control and energy rap artists used to put into their vocals and lyrics + how their vocals were so controlled. When you listen to this song in high quality audio you can hear almost what would be called Vibrato, but I could be mistaken on the term .
Back when this dropped, West coast gangsta rap was a HUGE movement thanks to artists like Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and 2 Pac... This was so fresh and the flow was so energetic. East Coast definitely had a style all it's own...

It’s insane how much control and energy rap artists used to put into their vocals and lyrics + how their vocals were so controlled.

Back when this dropped, West coast gangsta rap was a HUGE movement thanks to artists like Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and 2 Pac... This was so fresh and the flow was so energetic. East Coast definitely had a style all it's own...
