I wanted to do a village this year so i started buying the pieces, and it did take several trips to DT. Wasn't sure if I had everything so i pulled it up and your video was first, glad i watched it. These were probably from last year but i found a package with a baker, man with gifts, north pole sign, and a package with 2 lamp posts and empty bench. Thanks to your video i can put my village together.
I love these buildings ive been collecting for months and ive got all complicate buildings and people ive been ordering on line i love the trees thats what makes your town. Theres a lady on line that has a link to where you can copy an print out cobblestone road sheets. Also i love the fact that they made them with AAA Batteries now instead of those watch batteries.
You’re welcome! Glad you liked the video! It’s not too late to get started. I just started my village last year and it seems like there are more places that have villages. Will share more soon.
All year I was waiting for a new set and was majorly bummed out to see that the houses are basically the same as last year's. I do like that they are plastic, lighter and less fragile. I have every plastic house DT released and got rid of all my ceramic ones (which I had tons of). I know that one of the plastic houses from maybe 2 years back(?) is a plastic version of a ceramic Cobblestone Corners house. I hope DT will make more plastic versions of their old ceramic houses.
Also, I dont like these new plastic villagers. They are too big. The resin villagers from the past sets (when Cobblestoner Corners were still ceramic) are smaller. It looks odd when I display the plastic villagers with the resin ones because not only they different sizes but the new villagers are more modern and the resin ones are victorian.
just wish local Missouri dollar trees sold these... they don't... silly to order online since I don't need to buy 25 of the same thing etc. Didn't mind buying a box of hot wheels track there since it's useable but for this type of stuff it's ridiculous they don't individually sell online since there's so many stores that don't stock this stuff.

Yay! So glad I was able to help you start a Christmas village!!!
I just got gifted Christmas village pieces snd am so excited so came to your channel to find things to add!! Merry Christmas! 🎄
another low cost option is to thrift shop some nice ceramic christmas village buildings. That's what I did to create a very nice christmas village.
Great idea! Thanks for sharing!!!
I do the same, and found beautiful items🤗
Great video thanks!

I appreciate your honesty and I agree. It would have been nice too see some new buildings however this is still nice. Great video! ❤
Thank you for the kind comment! Yes! I’m working on one more village video from an unexpected place. Stay tuned!
Oh, really appreciate seeing last year as compared to this year. Am new to collecting these and was wondering if I was missing out. Thank you!

@quickie817 When you say villagers, are you talking about the figurines?
@@LivingRichlyonaBudget Yes, the figurine. The old resin ones were like victorian era. These new plastic ones are more like the 50's
Can you tell me how tall the houses are? I can't seem to find dimensions. Thank you.
They are 4.25” - 4.5” high.
They are 1.25 so I'll get the new buildings with the new colors too
Good point. I ended up getting them too!

They sell the entire set online at Dollar Tree and you don’t have to buy 25 pieces. I mention this in the video.
