You don't need any accounts for the dashcam to work. It records everything automatically. You only need the app on your phone if you want to download the footage or change the settings.
@@MBZMaster I did, its turned on, there is sound but not clear, I tried to reset factory settings, same thing, is there anything special I am missing? thank you for your interest
@@DIAMOR666 You can download video to your computer and use any video editing program to amplify sound and clean the noise. I don't remember if that dashcam supports exterior microphone, like VIOFO I reviewed in my other video.
You should have routed the rear camera cable, starting from the front of the car, towards the rear of the car. The extension cable was designed for that. The rear camera extension cable has that thin, cylindrical connector, so that you can route it easier through the narrow holes in the car. That is the whole purpose of the separate extension cable. Otherwise, the rear camera would have the whole long cable attached to it from factory, it would be cheaper. Instead, you chose the harder way, routing a 90 degree connector through the whole car. I am glad it worked, but you made it harder than it needs to be.
@@MBZMaster @Constantinus213421 Not to be 'that guy', but I'm going to be that guy for a moment, @MBZMaster did a great job, however the cable should really have been routed through the rubber boot. The rubber boot is the plastic "Hose" that runs between the hatch and the body of the car, so you don't run the chance of closing the hatch on the cable. Look up rubber boot and car door/hatch. You'll realize what I'm talking about. Great work though!
@MBZMaster You are exactly right; my apologies, tbh I fast-forwarded through the video. One of the several reasons this is my 2nd or 3rd time to comment on videos. My sincere apologies! :)
No, it would a lot more expensive, especially on the lower price models, because it usually requires a bunch of other options to get. But it's a lot more expensive even by itself. Plus, the original dashcam has only one front camera, which is low quality, and doesn't have half of the features of even inexpensive aftermarket dashcam. You can watch my original MB dashcam tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/LUrm5sX7CVM/w-d-xo.html
Yes, both cameras should record simultaneously. I will demo in one of my upcoming videos. I just released the 2nd part for this dashcam here th-cam.com/video/C5GEYrNONCY/w-d-xo.html
Good day to you. Just want to ask, is the "Mirroring and rotation" setting applicable only to the rear camera? I was wondering if I could position the front camera device upside down and adjust the positioning via app. Will that be possible?
You can record upside down (although I don't see why, it's easier to install normally) because you can flip the footage on your computer using any video editing program, including many free ones.
Im buying a810 but in our country we just rc06 is available.. do if someone test its worked on a810 it will realy help.. but i heard rc06 have opposite connector from rc11rc11@@MBZMaster
I'm interested in knowing if only the M500 dash cam is compatible with the 70mai tire pressure monitoring sensors, or is it possible that it works with the A810?
I just got the camera and I am very happy with the image quality. The only issue I have, is the GPS signal sensitivity. The device is losing the signal frequently. I can understand that there are problems in the city, but the issue persist on the country roads or highways as well. Am I the only one who is experiencing this?
I haven't had this problem on my unit. You may need a separate GPS receiver for places with bad reception, or maybe even replacement if the unit is defective, but you should contact 70mai via their website or their Amazon page for suggestions.
@danielkomrska2516 I've been using 70Mai dashcams since they started on Kickstarter or Indiegogo, and have never had issues with their GPS. Surprisingly enough, I also work with satellites and GPS, being in the city you are highly likely to lose signal momentarily, unless you are just completely in downtown with skyscrapers everywhere. I would bet you have a defective unit as @MBZMaster suggests.
Hi ! I have a problem with mine, it stops recording all the time, when I enter the album to check the videos I find out that I’m missing some clips cause it didn’t record all the trip. Any tips on how to fix this ? I use a 256 GB Samsung micro SD card
There may be a few reasons for not recording. Make sure the dashcam has a good connection with a cigarette lighter adaptor, as well as the cable connecting with the dashcam. If this cable is loose and disconnects on either side, the recording will stop. Turn the screen to Always ON, so you can see if it ever turns off while driving. Another reason, there may be a defective SD Card. Try to use a different card to see if the problem is the same. Also, anytime you enter your app on your cell phone -the recording temporarily stops.
Hello, how are you? I have a problem with pairing between the phone and the camera, and it appears that the connection is weak, even though it is strong and very effective.
@@paldo771 As I mentioned in the video, if you want a more professional look, you should run the rear wire inside the rubber sleeve. But even if you don't, the wire is almost invisible to the naked eye.

Dayum...Xiaomi should be ashamed for not making a detailed exclusive guide video like this... Hats off
If there are two drivers, will each person need a separate account for the camera? Is it easy to switch depending on who is driving?
You don't need any accounts for the dashcam to work. It records everything automatically. You only need the app on your phone if you want to download the footage or change the settings.
Please tell me if the A810 has voice control as the old A510 did.
Thanks bro
Is there a way to connect this camera to my Android via Bluetooth instead of WiFi?
No, but you don't need to connect your smartphone at all. Only connect when you need to download the footage or adjust the settings.
Thanks this was very informative. Do you have a part 2 to show the parking feature?
I'll try to release the 2nd part before the end of this month.
I have the A810 front and rear camera for my car, the video sound recorded is very low in volume and quality, please, how can I fix this problem?
Check Settings on your phone app.
