They control the crowd more in there teens than many other bands can and performances are always great and full of energy and performed with infussiasm . Thats why when people ask why are there more popular than this band and that band who play there own instruments ect i say watch a full performance. I think you realised when you watched MetRock how great they are 😁🤘🦊🤘
_Maada da yo!_ Love this song, i heard this version and Gimme Chocolate from this Download France 2016 when came out, sad about the mic volume on Yui and Moa, terrible audio mixer, everything else is outstanding like always,. maybe some little flaw here and there but nothing so serious. But what i really like from this is the unique shot of Moa shuffle at 3:54 super fun; queen SuMetal asking for big circle and the "I found you!" from MoiMoi instead of the usual growling with the "miitsuketa!" 👹 Oh i forgot Mikio-sama (R.I.P) 🙌 I wish they released the full setlist of this festival. On BOH note about his bass, I'm not an expert but someone else noticed about his type of bass, i think i saw someone else mentioned about he's using a custom model "fretless bass with fret lines", that was at Budokan 2014. Thanks for sharing this, nice to see Eric come back and your new friend. Hopefully they will throw new material soon, the current status of The Other One is at 42%, so can't wait for something to happen. 🙏🦊🤘❤️
You guys will know far more than me, but i think the sound quality might be the lack of a backing track? This is the first time I can actually hear Moa and Yui sing. Also I love the camera angles. It was pretty neat seeing Moa side step up to get into position behind Su when normally we just see from the front of Su.

Not only the audio sounds pretty raw (which I enjoy from time to time... it's a live performance after all...) but also the camera work is kinda weird... But (apart from not showing the first part of BOH's tapping) we can see Moa's fancy feet movement which I had never seen before this video (3:55 mark on your video) because they usually do a front camera shot.
Camera work was almost certainly the local tv station, the sound engineers have probably been sacked and sent back to Japan never to be heard of again, at least it proves they weren’t lip-syncing. Still great to watch!

Have never seen this performance of CMIYC. Great one. I for one loved the rawness of the video and the Kami intro was nuts. I don’t see how the guy on the left didn’t get it (Frank was it?). I mean c’mon you got great musicianship, Suzuka’s vocals, outstanding stage presence (Su -demanding bigger circle😁), wonderful choreography and cuteness from Moa and Yui. I miss you two guys reacting together and always appreciated the respect you showed (and that you still show) the girls and The Kami’s. I cannot imagine another band as fun, talented, unpredictable and unique as BabyMetal arriving on the scene anytime soon. Maybe never.

very bad recording really.. (especially drums). For me, the sound is very important, it's hard for me to listen to music with such glitches in the recording. I would be VERY ashamed to release such a record.. If it was impossible to fix it in post-production, I would rather delete it :) I'm talking about the record itself, and not about Babymetal. They were playing okay. But on the record, it's not at all what they played. U can find fancams from there - and sound was ok on fancams.
I actually appreciate this raw recording because everything they have put out up until me seeing this was perfection. I was like ooooh they f*#ked that one up. Lol so it was refreshing because you could still here they were on point

But after 2014 they improved and the quality of the new records is much better. Maybe because there was a lot of money for it. And in this video, most likely, the sound engineer just screwed up with the drum microphones (which for some reason were recorded with a time shift and double sound). At the concert itself, the sound was NORMAL, This is only on the record.
