سیدنا جابر بیان کرتے ہیں ایک مرتبہ حضرت عمر بن خطاب نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں تورات کا ایک نسخہ لے کر حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کی اے اللہ کے رسول یہ تورات کا ایک نسخہ ہے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم خاموش رہے سیدنا عمر نے اسے پڑھنا شروع کردیا نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے چہرہ مبارک کا رنگ تبدیل ہونے لگا۔ سیدنا ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا تمہیں عورتیں روئیں کیا تم نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے چہرہ مبارک کی طرف دیکھ نہیں رہے؟ سیدنا عمر نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے چہرہ مبارک کی طرف دیکھا تو عرض کی میں اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی ناراضگی سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں ہم اللہ کے پروردگار ہونے اسلام کے دین حق ہونے اور جناب محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے نبی ہونے پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں۔ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا اس ذات کی قسم جس کے دست قدرت میں محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی جان ہے اب اگر موسی تمہارے سامنے آجائیں اور تم ان کی پیروی کرو اور مجھے چھوڑ دو تو تم سیدھے راستے سے بھٹک جاؤ گے اور اگر آج موسی زندہ ہوتےاور میری نبوت کا زمانہ پالیتے تو وہ بھی میری پیروی کرتے۔

My humble suggestion to Dr. Sahib is to be careful when discussing religious issues. Do not record videos where you are talking about religion unprepared. Islamically, we are not supposed to read the holy books of Jews and Christians except for the purpose of Dawah. We believe in Torah and Injeel but they are no longer available in the form in which we believe. We are told to neither believe nor disbelieve what they say from their scriptures. Please do not recommend people to learn these books. Whatever we need for guidance has already been sent to us in the Quran. If red heifer had any significance for us, we would have been told about it along with a long list of signs of the last Hour that can be found in authentic ahadith.
