    I just dig the macro grill cloth shots! Whoever films these is a GD genius!

    I've had a first production run 1965 pro reverb since 1996. It still chimes like the best of them and when you turn it up and push it with a drive it's unreal... plus the reverb is everything drippy perfection

    I love my '68 Pro Reverb. It has been the perfect amp for gigs, big and small, and in the studio.

      I’m really considering buying a late 60s to early 70s non master volume pro and was wondering when does it start to break up and how well does it do cleans? I haven’t played one in person but played a super reverb that sounded killer Amy information helps thanks

      @@Hillelfan02 My Pro Reverb is one of the cleanest amps ever with pure bell like tone! You've really got to crank it up for any breakup and then it is REALLY loud. It takes pedals really well. Add a good overdrive or fuzz for breakup. You'll have great tones!

      Vintage original? Could you tell me at what volume this amplifier starts to overdrive?

    More tyler geske videos!
    Perhaps a Q&A?

    It's a bassman circuit with tube rectifier and reverb trem . The " baby twin" ! Nice and fat sound.

    Well, my '65 has a mid. I added one to the tremolo channel at the extra extension jack. Can dial it out and make it stock or dial it up and get some awesome gain sound at lower volumes. Dial that mid up halfway and kick a sweet honey OD on. Pure tone heaven. 😉 And I only paid $2,500 for mine last year.

    Great. Peter Green was a fan of Fender Reverb, too.

    what's the difference between a pro reverb and a vibrolux? Speaker size or is there other stuff too?

    • @hussledupgamejam
      @hussledupgamejam 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It's primarily speaker size, but also slight differences with the output and power transformers. The vibrolux has two 10 inch speakers and runs at ~35 watts, so it breaks up easier than a pro reverb.

    I thought the biggest difference in the Pro was a valve rectifier?? More compressed sound? I mean, they are still loud AF. Volume is dB, not Watts. Watts is a unit of power! I prefer valve rectifiers, because the more valves the better in my opinion. The Fender brochures used to advertise "10 tube performance" although I never figured out what that actually meant.

    • @russellesimonetta3835
      @russellesimonetta3835 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly but the circuit is bassman , not AB763. JUST ADDED REVERB AND TREM. Oh the power rating is 40 watts. It will do that if you want to burn tubes up . Per speks on the tubes biased to 70% of power. So 32 or so watts . That will allow the tubes to stay reliable and happy!

    The only (IIRC) 2X12, 40 watt, handwired amp Fender ever made. Well, maybe the tweed low power Twin ...
