The music is CW Stoneking "Way out in the world". This album is from 2008 I think. Great artist. It has, however, been recorded on a regular acoustic guitar and thus is not related to what the video is showing...
sorry to say ... the sound on this video is not my instrument. to hear a very similar one watch my drum shell resonator video. I can't record the tin resonator as I no longer have it. I have a new Zoom h1 so can record instruments in future . mike
Could lack of bass be due to many of you guys using "spider" in the resonator? I did one guitar the other day and it sounds pretty nice without any spider thing, just the oak bridge posed onto an inverted cesear-sallad cone.
Damn, most of the time I hear these home-made can instruments, they sound lacking in bass, banjo-ish in a thin sort of way - this sounds like a great guitar!

it's all good. If anyone follows this video, their instrument won't sound the same anyways. That's part of the beauty of it.
