Has a front camera, Tesla doesn’t. Has stalks, Tesla doesn’t. USS for help with parking, Tesla doesn’t. Has a display over the steering, Tesla doesn’t. Better build quality. But people want to drink the cool aid. Looks is controversial, but a much better CAR than model 3.
Slightly worse build quality... Also no stalks means it's way better on highway ! But I would obviously take the ioniQ 6 over the model 3 any day IF it wasn't 20k€ more expensive than the Model 3...
Only reason I would have considered tesla is the sedan shape. Seriously, SUV's are too big and ugly for me to want an EV
Tesla model 3 is better hands down. Better price, better charging network, better 0-60, better range, better looks (imo). What’s your argument against that?

@@Jake_Ritter Mod 3 has no front camera for when you park or get close to objects. No USS sensors and Tesla vision cannot see the car accurately. 6 is Easier to switch gears with stalks, 6 has a front dashboard so you don’t have to look to the right. 6 has other accessible controls so you are not distracted by touching the screen while driving. Mod 3 Doesn’t charge as fast as the 6. Yes you can argue it looks better and that it has access to the Tesla network (that’ll change soon for the 6).

touché. mustang GT loads more fun on the skrrrrreets, but that ioniq 6 is quiet, fast (no drama), and so practical. no gas stations is very compelling. a real tossup
@@HansProbs gas stations are more compelling then waiting 30 minutes on a charge
@@EastonHB27 true, but would have garage charger and keep a gas car for road trips. these EVs dont draw attention when you floor it like a GT does. less 🚨
Really cool! I think when i look at electric vehicles the autonomous driving will be a big differentiator. you might want to talk about that in the future! I honesty like the porche look

But with better gas mileage and dependability,this thing is ugly especially in the back

Another great value for the Ioniq 6 is not giving money to Elon.

That's not hard tbh because the only good thing about Tesla it's the battery that's and the rest is pretty bad
From the back it looks cool. But the sideview is wth. They're now offering zero down 260 per mo lease for SE long range, heck of a deal im interested

Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2022-2024 IONIQ 5, 2023-2024 IONIQ 6, Genesis GV60, Genesis GV70 "Electrified," and Genesis GV80 "Electrified" vehicles. The Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) may become damaged and stop charging the 12-Volt battery, which can result in a loss of drive power.
"Hyundai said the improved ICCU software decreases thermal loading and lowers peak voltage during operation to mitigate ICCU damage."
The software just MITIGATES the damage? It doesn't prevent it? This means it will just be a bit longer until the ICCU fails, likely just outside of warranty.
So what does the recall mean? Do they fix it? Or it’s a software update?
@@cheesun124 I brought my 2023 Ioniq 6 for the recall and it only required a software update. The warranty covers the ICCU for 10 years.
Seriously? The Model 3 is more efficient, less watts used per mile. Model 3 has an actual frunk, nearly 6times as large as the Ioniq's glove box size. The Model 3 has more range. Model 3 has more cabin space. The Model 3 has more cargo space. The Model 3 has the Tesla charging network. The Model 3 is faster and more powerful. And the Tesla is cheaper, c'mon!!!
Getting a Tesla insured is twice the cost

One Pedal drive does make sense for an EV... except when cruising on the highway. At least Hyundai understands to have options.
6:27 - One pedal driving for some creates 🤢🤢🤢. Never can get used to it - I drive my 6 in lvl 2 which is just enough regen without the nausea.
Wait till you drive it in lvl 0 on the freeway. It flies.🦅
I love mine but keep it in I pedal almost all the time even on the freeway at least if I'm in traffic, I find braking that way to be much more maneuverable
Front end looks like an old Tiburon.
I’ve seen one of these on the road since their release and I live in an EV crazed region. All of the other Hyundai/KN EV offerings are everywhere. I think this one is a victim of the ugly stick.
God-awful rear design. I mean, Hyundai even tried to save the rear section with 2 spoiler lips, but as the old saying goes, you can't polish a turd

nothing against evs because i like them but why spend that much more on this than a prius, camry, or other sedan? especially when you have to deal with charging and shorter range.
Prius would be my top choice but they have a 7 month waiting list so I'm getting Ioniq instead
