    To me there's nothing like the sound of a shovel. I love you're videos, man. I sit and watch em all day long. Usually until the ol lady starts yelling at me to get up or turn it down haha.

    That's one sweet machine. They don't make them like that anymore. Harley really took a crap with the twin cam. But that's just what I think . Awesome video by the way.

    • @ronalddaurosr9686
      @ronalddaurosr9686 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Robert Noyola yea, you don't have to fix'em. a hundred thousand mile engine sucks.

    • @chopperchopster
      @chopperchopster 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The TC motor is fine. Like everything else these days full of electronics. The TC motor is done now though. Now HD has introduced the 8 valve. The days of being able to repair your machine on the side of the road are OVER!

    • @chopperchopster
      @chopperchopster 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ronald a properly built and maintained shovel will run with any TC or 8 valve or evo. And by the way if you are into racing the shovel is a stronger engine.

      @hillbillyscumfuc4360 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Twinkies are junk.....Shovels are the best H-D engine in my opinion

  • @chopperchopster
    @chopperchopster 8 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    cool ride. Very cool. patch holders arent riding chopps any more . These days an outlaw bike is either an FXR or a dyna . I havent seen a patch holder on a ol skool chop like that in years. To bad its a much nicer machine if you ask me.

    • @HuntingHarleys
      @HuntingHarleys  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Adam Stein that's because the patch holder's who rode chops and bobber's were all young kids, there were no old patch holder's then

    • @ThrottleResponse
      @ThrottleResponse 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Adam Stein that's because they all want the benefits of the "performance" chassis of the FXR or FXD, but with the power of a big twin.
      I agree choppers and bobbers are nicer machines to look at, and IMO it takes more balls to ride one hard and throw it around VS an FXR/FXD.

    • @Spoons7414
      @Spoons7414 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Adam Stein The El Forasteros and Galloping Gooses ride chops.

      MickLawless my uncle was patched with sons of silence. i met a few goose and forstero riders.

    • @HuntingHarleys
      @HuntingHarleys  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is a reason for the FXR's and DYNA's, faster, reliable, and don't hurt your back.

  • @MaxLeeMe

    Out of curiosity, did those dual plug heads have any measurable improvement on anything?

    • @HuntingHarleys
      @HuntingHarleys  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      mild performance improvement

    • @MaxLeeMe
      @MaxLeeMe 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      cool deal! Do you know why they stopped making them then? Just moving on to bigger and better engine designs?

    • @HuntingHarleys
      @HuntingHarleys  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** Harley Davidson never made them. The people that did this were either trying to coax the last bit of HP out of their Shovel or simply talked into it by their motor builder. Anytime you see this, it is not a factory mod but something custom done.

    • @MaxLeeMe
      @MaxLeeMe 10 ปีที่แล้ว
