Guess it depends where you are. Black sheep are welcome in Danmark, but they are usually a wool breed. I think the lambs are mostly sold for meat, so the color of the lamb makes no difference. I can’t remember what breeds Sandy has, but have heard Dorset and Suffolk.
I have been working on watching every video for over a year and a half. I think I'm now on August 2020 videos but I also watch your new videos a second they come out so I get confused on timelines. This is probably my favorite lambing mom I seen it was very sweet the way she kept talking to and nuzzling her baby while she was giving birth to that second one.

That breakout was wild, wasn’t it. There must have been so many ewes in heat they drove the rams crazy. And the rams went at it fast and furious. Extra pay day? You’re the best.

First I have to say that not only do you show what a life of farming/ livestock is like...neverending! No matter what country you live in this is a non-stop life! I live in the US and lived my whole life in a rural area that is farms and fields. I appreciate it so much more now! With the world the way it is right now, simple things like a new mom and her beautiful baby bonding is enough to make my day! I hate that you missed your chance at a long weekend but I believe your viewer's are enjoying what can happen in 10 minutes! We live in a rural area in Minnesota, basically dedicated to milking cows and grain fields. As the farmers are getting older, they are selling their farms. As a result, we are enjoying the moving in of many Amish families. This morning as we were headed out for a business trip, I was so fortunate to see one Amish farmer having a shorn flock of sheep! I was so excited to see all the babies and Moms in the field. A joyous sight and thanks to you, I can now understand the whole process a LOT more! Blessings to you, dear Lady and many thanks. @@judithburke1539 most animals will stand up when most of the body accept the hindquarters of their offspring is out. As they turn around in a circle looking for their baby, it's part of Nature's Way of cleaning the mucus from their mouth and nose. That's why offspring are born with their eyes closed to protect them when this is happening. I've noticed this a lot with horses.

Here in Australia we don’t need to because our stock can be outdoors and naturally wear their hooves down.
