hiya. How long have you been in Cambodia all together? From all the places you've been to in Cambodia which place would you keep a second home in Cambodia. when you say the motorcycle rental place takes care of your visa could you say what kind of visa u came on and what did you get on your "renewal". Excuse all the questions
@@MSWcryptoworker hi there, happy to answer your questions. I’ve lived here for 2.5 years now. I’ve lived in Siem Reap, Kampot and Phnom Penh. Multiple times in both Kampot and PP. PP is definitely the best place to have your base. From here you can travel easily to most places in the country and it’s a fantastic vibrant city. It varies. Some motorbike rentals take care of visas and travel agents too. When entering the country you have to make sure to get an “ordinary” or “business visa” costing $45 USD in cash. That lasts a month and then you can extent it to 3, 6 or 12 months with multiple entry. Cambodia is the coolest and east place to live.
Could I give you some advice ( coming from a good place) on the utube format. Please put up on screen in writing any referral or names you say. It allows us farangs to write down what you said , for example the name of the butchers. It provides, like a teacher, reinforcements. Good and safe journeys.
We would love to find out more about, “how to find a house or apartment in Kampot”, and “what are reasonable prices for them.” We personally don’t want anything big or fancy.
@@robhourmontmba we don’t know exactly when, but all going well, it will be later on this year. We will also looking for a school to teach English in, as that will be our income.
@@bigroundwatermelon6456 ok, then let me give you a tip. It's possible to get an English teaching job in Kampot but there are not many schools and I believe all positions are taken. Instead, I recommend you apply to Preply.com where you can teach people all over the world online. They are hiring, and pay up to $22 an hour once you have established yourself for a month or so. That's a far better way to go and gives you the freedom to work from anywhere.

How much for a 1 bdroom apt i Kampot? I live in Thailand but tax changes are making me think I should split time.
TIA
You can get a nice 1 bedroom fully furnished for $200 USD. Please ask me anything else you may want to know. 🙏
How does Kampot differ from Siem Reap?
@@dovygoodguy1296 much more today in Kampot than SR. Beautiful mountains, surrounded by nature, close the beach and islands. Calm and peaceful.
Is there a need for retired English teachers there who may like to volunteer their time?
@@HenryDavis-qu4rf yes there is
A great idea, and way to meet locals.
@@ardshielcomplex8917 yep it is. Thanks. Posting one now about SR
