You either have to have a really good set of speakers or a really good pair of head phones to truly enjoy the sounds of all the instruments involved in this process.
nguyen le's performance on Azure Moon was much better than this one. The use of the whammy bar was far more tasteful. John Scofield solo on the original exceeds it as well.
Oh, and for the record, Mr. Louis Conte's percussion solo was on point! Absolute perfection. I don't know where "LoveUTube4Music" gets justifies his comment about how the percussion solo sucked. There's like what? More than 200 people packed in that audience? Judging from their profuse applause, I'd say they enjoyed Louis Conte's performance tremendously.
Three top percussionists in my view; Luis, Lenny Casro, Paulinho Da Costa. There are many more I know, including folks that are friends and others I've worked with, but these three nail it for me.
I have about 38mts of the concert.About record date-i took the date from the credits at the end so must have aired the folling year(seems to be same concert) Yea it's a great concert, must upload more
Oh My! That Orange Guitars track is so funky and the key signature is so so outta OUTTA control I've found myself just here wiggling in my chair every which-a-way to any part of the rhythm I can pick up and pointing my finger at the screen.
Nguyen Le showed up to this gunfight with a knife, and man ... he pulled it off somehow. That was weird, and fantastic all at the same time.

jeeez, they really love those RE20's... they use them to mic EVERYTHING lolol
This track is originally from Jimmy Haslip's excellent solo disc "Arc," for anyone out there wondering.
Written by the brilliant Vince Mendoza

Dear Mike! Please upload more of this! Vince - Woa. There was once a funk tune that was pulled down. My favorite Big Band. Take care, Keith

Amazing Luis Conte solo at the end... Musical fluidity second to none.

Very nice guitarsolo! Great stuff sir!! (with all due respect to the awsome musicianship of the other bigband members).
OMG!!! I JUST heard the percussionist. You gotta be kidding me. This is just too good.
