Playing Japan at BR IV, 76% WR in 290 games. The americans are really weak unless they're stacked imo. They tend to be average players that simply forget to defend the point. The problem is that when they're stacked, the game can quickly become air spam from the americans since they have great rockets. The problem is not that we're so weak, it's that higher-BR tools for the US are just not fun to play against. Got some golden rules to have fun tho. You absolutely need an engi/plane/premium team to get those fuckers with HVAR rockets. One competent american with those will just make the match miserable for the japanese side. You need to have a countermeasure for T20 spam (mine is simply staying at BRIV to get less of them in my games, but grenade throwers are fine since you don't need to aim to kill people). American tanks were way better, but now you get Chi-To at BR IV that can tank a rocket from the face and kill all american tanks, so it's a bit better. Another problem is the diversity of maps, but Burma got us a breath of fresh air, and I have no doubts Manchuria will get us to an enjoyable spot. So yeah, unless you really like those Hei autos or Ho-ri prod., just don't play BR V and your games will be very enjoyable. I play some USSR too and frankly Japan got my funniest games.
