Queen Máxima curious about her guilty pleasure: "How many calories does baklava have?"

Queen Máxima visited the SVO vocational training food in Houden. This vocational training institution trains students for a job in the food sector. During her visit, Queen Máxima was given a tour of the various practical rooms, where she spoke extensively with the students. For example, the queen watched the preparation of frikandellen and baklava. The preparation of fresh vegetables and the processing of meat products were also discussed. Before Máxima took part in a round table discussion with representatives from education and the food sector, she spoke briefly with students behind the barbecue. The queen also attended a lesson on developing hybrid food products and a VR lesson in which theory and practice come together in a modern learning environment.
