Hi on the remaha combi there is a fault code E5 I have changed the seal around burner to the updated one works fine for say 4 week then same fault code comes back any suggestions.
@@happyslapper07 there's a couple of thing to check... 1. The condense trap and outlet is clear 2. The co2% on high and low is 8.8% 3. The flue is not blocked 4. Make sure the Earth to the boiler is sound 5. Ignition electrode complete with transformer may need replacing
@@thebeardedheatingco hi thanks for info I've check all of them and changed the electrode but not sure about the transformer as the boiler runs of for weeks the E5 code come on but if you press reset it works for weeks the code come back again.
The transformer is an electronic component that could be failing slowly... i go to way too many and 90% everything is the issue, and the last 10% it's the transformer
This helped me have a hot shower today. Heat Exchanger was clogged. Cheers. Dank je!
Thanks for this video! I need to do my 1st service to the Calenta after 4 years so this is helpful...
Excellent video 👍
