Here’s a tip for getting the cushion covers back onto those cheaper cushions that don’t have a liner....place the cushion into a plastic trash bag with a pull tie. Be sure to place it into the cushion cover with the tie on the bottom so, when you’re gotten the cushion inside, you can easily open the tie and slide the bag out. Then do your next pillow. If desired, you could leave it on your cushion for easy removal next spring.

Great idea.....I also did this when I put my grandaughter clothing in her back pack.....I folded her clothing, slid the clothing in a Walmart plastic bag, and then into her backpack that way her clothing looked great when she got ready to wear them.....every thing stayed perfectly pressed, and not waded Ina wrinkle ball....!!!!

I used painter tarps in canvas pricey $20 for 9x12ft but Hemmed them and used hooks attached to my wood roof I don’t leave them out I only bring them out for occasions

I've had the best luck with using shower curtains for outdoor curtains...I've used both fabric shower curtains on their own and I've used the heavy duty frosted plastic curtain (and white if you can find them) for them all I've used picture wire and cup hooks to hang them...happy decorating , you've done amazing things with your outdoor decorating

Outside curtains, use polyester shower curtains. The ones that can be washed. I saw them do this on Home Town and Fixer Upper on HGTV. It looks beautiful, great job,!!!!!!

FANTASTIC IS ALL I CAN SAY, BECAUSE WORDS escape ME WITH SEEING THESE AWESOME DECORATING SKILLS! I’m going try several of these this Spring, but faves would be curtain lights, potted plant stands, plunger lanterns and the wire hanging lights, but I have no where to hang those except from some of our tree branches. We don’t have a pergola yet. Maybe by next year after the sunroom is finished on the inside and we have competed the garden shed this year on the inside and landscaped around it. Thanks so much for such GREAT IDEAS! The buying options are a plus since I’m looking for things for our patios, we have 4 to decorate. That was so appreciated! Canvas curtains outdoors! I’ve had mine hanging for years exposed to elements. Still perfect. (Mine are white- so no fading). (Pricy, but worth it).
For outdoor curtains you will have good luck with drop cloths that you use for painting

I like the idea of using the PVC pipe. I saw someone else’s video where she used regular curtain rods with painters canvas drop cloths. Your idea of the rods would be perfect with her idea of using the drop cloths. She says they have been through a storm and held perfectly together a year later. We are thinking of doing the same thing to our screen covered porch to block off the strong sunlight during the summer months. Too bad I have already purchased the curtain rods and I have not yet gone to Harbor freight to purchase the drop cloths yet but I will next pay period. It is really not too late to go and purchase the PVC pipe and some hooks to go along with it. And I can use the pretty curtain rods for something else indoors somewhere in my home.
Hi Margie! Yes, I have seen others use the drop cloths but didn't know how well they stood up so thanks for letting me that they do have some staying power! The IKEA ones I used in the video are still going strong about a month and a half in which isn't too long but they have already outlasted those brown ones I showed in the video that used to be on the patio and only lasted a month! If you do get PVC, then you may also want to get the screw in metal clamps to attach on your porch. They sell in same section as pipe and they are only a dollar or two for a bag of 6 or so.

I warched this video today and you gave me the inspiration in needed to get outsoors. I live in TN. Yesterday we had rain and snow. Tomorrow will be im the 70s. My front entry will look new and amazing. Out door curtains option I used painters cloths. Got them from Harbor Freight. Put grommets on the top and used shower curtain rings to put through the pipe. Easy to slide open or close. You can also paint these cloths for color.

Just now seen this and I love your ideas. S to your dilemma with the cartons, my sister went and bought a 2 or 3 shower curtains. She Loves flamingos, And she found the shower curtains with white background And those lovely pink birds. She hung on shower hooks and weighted them down. And actually looks very nice.. I myself would have gone with something light and breezy like what you did.

The best outdoor curtains are cotton paint cloth. I purchase some and they are great outdoor curtains for my porch. I got my from Home Depot

To prevent the rough metal edges when drilling holes in the metal oblong flower containers, use a scrap piece of wood, holding in place while you drill holes, called a backer.

Wow!! So many ideas, may I suggest the rocks in the Koe fountain ? Paint the rocks in it with clear glow in the dark paint , put in the sun before a gathering and it will glow at night.

As for outdoor curtains, one option I've seen a lot lately is using drop cloths that you can get at Home Depot, Amazon, and other places. They're quite inexpensive and come in long lengths. thanks for all of the great ideas! Another option for outdoor curtains are Harbor Freight canvas drop cloth pieces of various sizes. I clipped on drapery rings and use the panels in my living room. They're a nice quality material and would hold up outside easily. The little table using the laundry basket with the wispy ends left on is not my favorite, I like it much better with the ends cut off.
