So inspiring breathtaking and beautiful technique … while dancing I had time to refresh my memory and identify one by one the name for each ballet move you were performing … when one looks at your dancing technique one can see all the various developments to achieve one move and link it to the next one … was missing though the beautiful accompanying music by the end or was it done on purpose for you to create music through the dancing only. Ballet addresses the soul and creates a peaceful atmosphere. Was in awe 🩰💖🌺🕊💛💙🕊🍀🌺💖🩰

Firstly, Maria is highly educated, comes from an educated family, lives in St Petersburg and is the darling of the Mariinsky. Her silence and vague remarks about love and peace are a cop out to me. I cannot watch any Russian dancers until they a stand like a few have and speak out for Ukraine.💛💙🇺🇦 (Nevertheless I’m most disgusted by those in training or members of ballet companies in Russia that have dual citizenship (USA/Russian; Italian p/Russian, etc,) and have decided to stay on in Russia. (Xander Parish, a British/Russian Principal left) Maria has a flawless technique, a perfect ballet body and an astonishing work ethic. Besides her near obsessive training with ballet outside of her classes and rehearsals, she exercises, does Pilates, stretches etc. to a level no other ballerina appears to do. But she leaves me cold on stage - Her performances are perfect but she doesn’t flesh out the characters with enough depth. Hopefully with time she will. But her Giselle, Odette Odile, and even her Aurora are lacking. In brighter roles like Paquita and nutcracker she is perfect.

вообще-то балет -это о ролях и образах. Техника - в гимнастике, и то - в спортивной. Была техничная фигуристка - Беатрис Шуба. На показательных катала скобки и восьмерки, публика понять ничего не могла - показательного номера так и не случилось у нее. Но техничная была - робот. Так и Мария, но робот станцует техничнее Марии.
