Electric Bike making using Ceiling Fan Motor / Will it Run ?

- Hi friends today I am going to show an Experiment with ceiling fan motor
Here I used two Ceiling fan as a hub motor .
I thought two ceiling fan can run mini cycle but it not working properly
because fan motor have low torque.

It will won't work if you sit on this bicycle don't try this ..that's the reason he didn't sit on it,he left the cycle on moving it.
Good idea for education. But fan motor does.not enough torque. It won't pull the cycle with load. Am I correct?

You just have to put your foot on the ground and push. You are correct ceiling fans lack torque to come close to being usable in this application

@@Kopie0830 Needs a transmission/gears... Just about any motor would work, then, even if slow accelerating, just like a fatNerd on a 10-speed bike, lol... (using a bike's 10-speed gearing, or better yet the 22-speed I used to have, would do the trick easily)

My friend, it will be better if you install a push button on the handlebars, so when you hold it down the motor will engage, and when you let go, it will get off.

It needs more torque.
That's got enough torque for one person. In general AC motors have more torque compared to DC motors for same power consumption. Ebike motors come equipped with gear set. If you use that gear set on this video's setup that will probably twist the axle with the ceiling fans attached to it.

Fans are ac induction motor which already have very low starting torque which is why capacitor is needed to run itself. Without torque there is no way it can be used as a proper cycle motor and for any other usage except blowing air.
while true it has low torque, the cap is actually needed because the car inverter is a fixed 60Hz while the wheels begin at 0Hz. at this point, the wheels will only vibrate.
