I usually just use a multi-meter to test polarity but I can see where this would be easier to use. Maybe a little miniturization would be in order but I really like the idea. Thanks for yet another good video!
I have a idea for a voltage regulator. voltage controlled switch type thing. its a voltage regulator for a alternator. I'd like to run it by you if I can. to see if you think it will work. like I think it will. using a N chan. FET. a opto. a about 26v zener . and a voltage divider. but use it backwards. and on the ground for the opto. and the zener will pull the opto ground high. shutting it off! with the opto on the gate of the N channel FET. witch will ground the alternator brushes. I can draw it out and send it to you. if you will give me contact info. I need to potentially build 6+ or these . if it will work. I have no soldier less bread board. my house burned down last year. I had no insurance. so its taking a long time to replace things. but this is the first circuit I designed. working or not! I appreciate your help greatly. gust from the videos . if you could give my regulator a look. even more! thank you so much.
Bro it's surprising how you come up with such nice videos at such high frequency! This is awesome, man!
Thanks

Simple and effective!
Bro can u give the materials
what voltage range is it ok for. eg min 3v to max 240v
I wouldn't go above 24 volts for safety
cool thanks
Great fundamentals
