The story of Jacob and Esau is like Adam and Eve in the garden of eden. Jacob got tempted by Rebecca to trick his old dad and steal the blessing like an apple from the tree. Ever since then there descendants have been fighting. Esaus descendants even made a religion or 2 to try and steal the blessing back. There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers Moral of the story is be honest
Definitely to be honest, but there is more than that. God promised to Rebecca that the first born will serve the last (Essau will serve Jacob) and instead Rebecca and Jacob to trust in God, they went to take the blessing in their own way, while God already had a plan according to His way. Same thing happened with Jacob's grandfather Abraham. Interesting. We never learn or choose to learn the hard way to place our complete trust (dependence) upon God.
Hi! Where can I find the full movie from where this small clip came from or the name of the movie? Any information is greatly appreciated, thank you! 🤗
This passage is not about white people or black people. It is about Middle Eastern brown people. Whites and blacks are very unimportant, bit characters in Scripture. The Story is about Middle Eastern desert dwelling brown people.
Acts 13:1-4 King James Version 13 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger Definition of Niger- Latin word for black.
@@Excuse_The_Hebrew there was only one black kid in my elementary school. He was known as "the black kid." I wouldn't use that passage if I were you because it makes it sound like there was only one black guy among all the circles the Apostles ran in.
Humans are always the same race. We are all descendants of Noah. At the Tower of Babel were all the DNA for the ethnic traits for all the humans groups we see today. When they were dispersed, and began to reproduce within select groupings those traits were reinforced, creating the ethnic traits we see today in geographical areas. I like your point though!
However, as soon as one sibling rivalry was resolved, another one (in the next generation) arose. If you know the Bible, you should know what I'm talking about.

It was Rebecca's idea for her son Jac to receive the other brothers Esau... not Jacob's idea

@@Excuse_The_Hebrew so why would they make the distinction to call one guy "Simeon the Black" if everyone else was black?
