Heavenly garments will be given according to the saints’ obedience and righteous acts. Each believer will receive clothing that expresses the quality of their devotion to Jesus in this life. Walking “with Christ in white” is one reward for being faithful. The reason for receiving these white garments is given-“for they are worthy.” This makes it clear that this reward is for personal faithfulness and acts of righteousness as in Revelation 19:8.
