    Do you know what is causing those codes? I got the service high voltage charging system message when my coolant got low. I just got it again for the 3rd time and coolant level is ok. I’m thinking it might be related the the 12v battery.

    Hello, I don't understand what you doing, but you obviously know ;)
    My Ampera had a similar problem a year ago which was induced by low level of coolant. Unfortunately it is not enough to add a coolant to resolve the problem. I had to go at dealer service to preinstall two of car computer blocks - of course very expensive procedure.

      Hello, yes when the fault is memorized it becomes an obligation to go to the garage to repair.
      The reason for this battery charging technique is that I refuse to update the car in a garage.
      I want to keep the 10.4 kWh available.
      I prefer to keep the full capacity of the battery and manage the end of the charge cycle myself.
      Anyone who uses Volt or Ampera is faced with one day or another and by obligation to do this update, I offer an alternative solution.

      @@E.V.b.A Do you know if there's a way to "downgrade" the HPCM2 and BECM. I had the update and went from 9,8 to 8,4.....
      I now have to use more gas on longer trips (every week)and I live in the Netherlands which is in the top 2 with most expensive gas prices (around €2,10 per liter...) This update by GM is costing me a lot of money on a yearly basis.....

      @@E.V.b.A In that case just continu to run on gas,it was more economic than try to charge the batterie that way

    Interesting workaround, thanks for sharing! However, 3.3 liters fuel for going 34 km? It would be better to just drive in hybrid mode. (52km total range - 18 km range before charging)

    What is the point to absolutly want to charge the vehicule? no economie to charge on gas,better continiu on normal mode until the problem is realy fix.

      It might be good to do it sometimes, if you have this charging problem for long - just to expand battary lifetime by not keeping it empty for a wery long time. Also for me it is good to know, because I plan to take my car in use in my offgrid solarsistem - so i can use this quiet generator for my household in winter time - in summer I can charce car with sun, but in winter i use it other way around.

    Salut! Qu'est-ce qui crée ton erreur?
    Moi j'ai le même mais je peux le reset et il reviens suivant mon niveau de batterie 12V très vieille(elle tombe à 11.7). Du coup je pense que c'est la 12v mon soucis.
    Ton UI sur la tablette est trop top!

      Salut, Defaut d'isolement mais je n'y crois pas les valeur sont trop arrondies pour être vrais.
      Si ton Defaut rentre et resort c'est moins grave car le P1FFF n'est pas mémorisé.

      In this video I am using Torque Pro for Android.
      The fault is cleared but it returns a few seconds later.
      to remove the fault it is necessary to reprogram HPCM2 and BECM.

      Hello,
      The battery charge no longer works with the cable.
      This small assembly allows the battery to be recharged to 100% with the gasoline engine when the car is in the parking lot.
