We went through randomized files of pokemon sword and shield and spent 30 minutes to build up a team using only ultras balls and one master ball for a doubles battle!! Honestly the teams were totally broken lol

I'm pretty sure the reason they both keep catching legendaries with a single ultra ball is becaus the randomizer they are using has retained teh catch rate of the pokemon that has been replaced... so it might have been using the catch rate of stuff like Nidoran and Zubat
Well yeah this compared to just the normal game it takes me a good 10-15 ultra balls just to catch regidrago or stupid uxie

Shit I sat there trying to just catch a fucking beldum took me 50 ultra balls then 30 dusk balls to even come close to catching it

Challenge idea: Type Draft
12 types are randomly selected and you take it in turns to choose the types you want so that you have 6 each (can't pick the same type as your opponent). Then you catch the first overworld pokemon you see that match those types. You cross off that type once you've caught it (if it is dual type you can choose which type it crosses off)
I like the idea but I would also like if they both caught the best 6 Pokémon they can find and then had to draft them to see who gets who

Doubles! I have been hoping for this for a long time now. Try this with a typechain challenge where you have to catch a pokemon that shares a type with the previous mon you caught (either random or choose them, either is valid).

Once again asking for a complete random type starter choice challenge, where the other person has to pick a pokemon by knowing the name but not the typing. 9 choices, 3 skips. Could end up with a dragon type togepi or a bug type rayquaza. Would be fun

Few ideas.
1 is more of a rule change, you get 1 veto (this is for ones like the language videos) where you can either cancel a skip or force a skip on the other person.
You have 10 nonmaster balls to catch a team. If you dont manage to catch at least 6, you just have a partial team. Catch more than 6 get to pick and choose. If you end up not being able to catch one at all you get 1 masterball to use on the very next encounter.
Been waiting for you guys to do double battles. Too bad none of the doubles only abilities showed up this time

Challenge idea: Color run
According to the pokedex entries there are 10 colors, you could do all kinds of challenges with that like
- red vs blue pokemon only
- catch the first pokemon of each color you find (10 total), 4 skips
- only catch pokemon with the same color as your first encounter

Pokemon randomizer but you can only use ONE move per pokemon for example say I have a Weedle with String shot, Bug bite, X scissor and Sticky web. I would only be able to use one of those. I think it would be an interesting video because it would be hard to set up and decide what move to use! Try it out!

I have an idea, you can do whatever you want challenge wise, but you have to name every pokemon you catch, a different pokemon. Example; you catch a Shuckle, you have to name it as a different pokemon, such as Pidgey. You can make it a strong or weak pokemon name, your choice.

To be honest I had this feeling that during the catch phase there was something along the lines of "guaranteed catches while holding a certain button" enabled. However I might be mistaken aswell and this might also be just pure coincidence / luck. Keep it up buddies! :)

Status Afflicted pokemon challenge?
You both make teams of pokemom caught in the wild, but you have to capture them with sleep, paralysis or confusion.
Once caught, you bring them into battle while they're still under their status ailment. Pokemon will wake up or break their sleep, paralysis or confusion and be useful at that time.
