EDIT, CHECK OUT THE REPLY TO THIS ABOUT HOW I JUST RECEIVED THIS DECK USED FROM AMAZON!!! MIND YOU, I ORDERED IT NEW. I love the (and i know it's not) look of pastel or crayon on rough paper. Funny seeing this review as I thought of revisiting my first deck today, the Hanson-Roberts deck with the Stuart Kaplan guide book. Hmmm... coincidence? Something telling me to get this deck? :)
I received this deck this afternoon from US Games on Amazon, I bought it new, of course. It came in an Amazon bag that UPS tossed and managed to crush the corner of the box, but that wasn't the main problem. The box was not shrink wrapped... Ok... BUT the cards were also not shrink wrapped or banded AND they were not in order and mixed, upright and reversed!!! I felt really disturbed because someone obviously opened all the bindings, shuffled and rummaged through the deck. The small book, when looking at the closed pages, have that open bubble as if someone fussed with pages between their fingers. I contacted US Games, spoke to someone and sent them a video and photos. So disturbing!!!
@@Tmanntarot It is weird. After sending US Games the photos they requested, they emailed me back that they will send me a new deck. I prompted that email asking if they want me to send them the one I had to 1. Of course ask and 2. By asking and they respond, at least I can gather that they have my address. As a matter of fact, it will be exactly 2 weeks tomorrow when they asked and I sent them the last email. I haven't received anything yet... which is not unusual, but I will email the person tomorrow and ask them what was happening without sounding like a pain in the ass. To be continued...
I'm glad I decided to call after I replied here. I spoke to the same person and he looked for my email that got buried on his end. He told me to keep the deck I had and a new one will be mailed tomorrow. Very kind of US Games.
Thank you for this review, it is a very interesting deck 💚💙💚💙
