Putting sleeves on quilts is my nemesis! I’ve only done one so far, and can’t remember how to do it on a quilt that is already bound. Am I thinking correctly that when the sleeve is made, you lay it just below the binding, and sew the top edge by hand? Then I pull the sleeve up even with the edge of the quilt, clip or pin it in place to make the bubble, then sew the bottom edge? You know me...I do better getting taught twice!😂😂😂
I didn't know about the bubble. Thanks for your tutorial, Nancy!
Very helpful. Thanks
Marty Little - Yes. Sew the 8" wide strip into a tube and sew it to the backing on the top and bottom of the tube

Yes Mary - that will work - you crack me up!!
Can you sew a sleeve onto a finished quilt?
- One that doesn't already have a sleeve under the binding.
