Ok…new subscriber. It was your Kubota delivery video that brought me here & then watching your work ethic, attention to detail, & the most important to me…your unabashed statement of faith as a Christian. God Bless ❤️🙏🎚🏁
Sweet, thanks for the support! I love what I do and I love God. Salvation through Jesus is the most important thing in my life. It changed my life completely. God Bless! ✌
I just finished installing natural stone va'neeer for the first time on an outdoor counter space. Satisfying material to work with. That New England blend looks real nice.
I might make a video of the entire patio/steps/cabinet project this week when I'm all done to get your opinion on how it came out and any suggestions or tips you might have.
this is my 2nd video of yours that i have seen now looked at northeastner web page love the farm wall northeast field stone and as this is real natural stone it will should hold up to the northeast weather cycle ill be making a phone call in the am for sure to get more info as i have a 250sq patio / porch to overlay looks like i found the vertical stone for my project hopefully they can help me with the horizontal too
I am not a huge fan of laying pavers over concrete, but if I were to do it, I would screed a 1-1.5 inch layer of chip stone over the concrete and lay the pavers on that. That gives the concrete and pavers a buffer with drainage. That will help prevent heaving and shifting, plus it is far cheaper and quicker than mortaring them to the concrete.
The wood was sealed with a heavy sealer before we built in front of it. Plus the top is sealed with silicone and the water will shed away with the slope we put on it away from the house ✌
Very nice work. How do you get a solid level surface to start building on? Is that crushed rock? If so what kind, & how deep/thick do I need to make the base?
With stone veneer work, I always build on a footing. It is necessary in my opinion. When you build steps with wall blocks and caps, there are a lot of times where you can build right on 6 inches of 3/4
@@TheChristianHardscaper awesome thanks , also I have one more question, how do I calculate how many cinder blocks I need and how many panels I need for my project? Again thank you and the videos are awesome 👍👍
Yes I know that guy. Lucky mf. I never comment but I love your work and teaching style. Gonna do pavers for the first time I'm gonna go back and study all of your relevant videos. I feel confident following them I'll be able to kill it. Thx keep up the great work.
My wife’s been asking for this for a long time. So glad to see a great video on how to.
Always amazed at the detail you put into your projects..... It shows at the finish every time...👍👍
Thanks brother, I always try to focus on the details! 👍

Thanks man, I try to stay focused on that. Quality sets you apart from the others for sure. And that bucket is very orange!! 🤣✌

They make some really nice products... I hope you find what you need ✌
Great job! Just curious what is your opinion or the best method to lay pavers over existing concrete?

What would you do with a tired worn out concrete patio if you're not laying pavers on it? @@TheChristianHardscaper
Do you guys do work in Auburn, MA?
Why you did not add flashing against the wood, it will rot quickly .
Thank you, we poured a concrete pad under the steps. Here is a link to the video of how we did that 👉th-cam.com/video/XW3CjeeybeE/w-d-xo.html
Are you able to install those steps if you don't have concrete slab underneeth? Perhaps use use 3/4 cleanstone ~6 inch thick?

How much was the cost to do the steps and veneers? In Wrentham and need that done
It can cost between $4,000 - $5,000 for steps this size.
Beautiful job!!! What is the price point for the veneer?
Thank you, the veneer costs about $20.00 per sq ft

@@leroyhoward272 for the " cinder" bolcks they are 8 inch wide by 8 inch high and 16 inch long
