I like how her being a user of Dark Magic doesn't automatically make her an Evil character or an Antagonist.
But she is an antagonist

Same. I'm not thrilled about Dark magic but there's more to her than just that. She's bubbly, silly, has a cute laugh, and cares deeply about her family. Perhaps from this point forward, she is an antagonist but her situation is a tad more complex than that.
Ik, and , (This is gonna sound a little weird) I don't think that dark magic is as bad as everone thinks it is. I mean, it's almost no different than eating meat. And plus, in Sol Regem, what did the dark mage do with dark magic? He saved and entire town, filled with innocent people, children, babies, mothers. Was that so bad? Save a hundred lives from a few birds. I am not saying it's fine or ok, its just not *as* bad as everyone says. (Also, Sol Regem was wrong to scorch an entire village. He should have just gone after his real enemy, instead of innocent people)
I’m rlly glad to see a lot of avatar fans but can we stop comparing the two universes? Or at least constantly seeing everything in the dragon prince as things that have happened in Avatar?
I feel bad for claudia she is a really fragile person since she was abandoned by her mother always trying to feel loved by her dad makes her really easy to manipulate, I hope she get a redemption arch.
This could go two ways. Claudia could be redeemed or she and Soren are gonna have an Agni Kai just like Zuko and Azula did.
The creator said "What did Claudia do to deserve a redemption arc" this means 2 things from where I stand Claudia is just following orders from her dad that means once she realizes her dad is a bad person she is already good since she is just doing what her dad told on the contrary that could mean that she knows that what she is doing is bad yet continues it because it is the path for her that she knows is right
...Am I a terrible person to want to see that Agni Kai now?

I feel more scared for her than of her. Especially since she's stuck in Xadia. And I hope Aaravos doesn't hurt her when he gets out of the cocoon. Part of me thinks that maybe the whole "She will be a valuable asset." line was something he said just to mess with Viren. Hope she doesn't stay a villain forever
My thoughts are he'll wind up killing her dad to get him out of the way. Then he'll either use her as a pupil or he'll probably possess her , given how powerful she is at that young age.
I wonder if Aaravos just meant what he said...or held a mirror in front of Viren, who may not think of her as asset, but actually use her like one.

Maybe so, but the way Azula was introduced in Avatar was very different from the way Claudia was shown to us in Dragon Prince
@@DragonGoddess18 Zuko was introduced as an asshole and people called him the same names they later used on Azula. Introductions can be misleading and to be honest, to see that there was more to Azula is a large part of what I enjoyed about her and the series at whole.

Did anyone notice that the book that Claudia is reading is the name of the play which Zuko watched every year with his parents at Ember Island on the episode The Ember Island Players. One of the creators that worked on ALTA made the Dragon Prince😯

Iv always seen soren and Claudia as the next zuko and azula I mean older brother is two years older younger sister is more powerful older brother is disliked by father and has always had a good heart older brother joins the good guys in the third season however I’m holding out my hopes that Claudia can be redeemed

Not entirely sure she'll be an Azula equivalent. Claudia is more or less a *Jet* kind of character. Soren is Sokka 2.0
It may end up with Claudia using her powers to take out Aaravos but do "anything" to keep her father alive

Claudia is truly special, I know that she has done very bad things, but the more I think about it, it does not make sense as in the third season she was managed, she previously showed how kind and loyal she is, she loves her family more than anything, and she considers Callum and Ezran as part of her, all she wants is things to be as before and it is quite sad how everything has changed since then, making them choose sides, and as we already saw...Claudia doesn’t want to choose, she wants her family from return...
Claudia is a character who will surely end up tragic and antagonistic. She has all the potential to become a worthy villain, for all her talented and dedicated, but for me it would never be fair for a good heart to be manipulated in such a way.
I know a lot of text, but Claudia is my favorite and deserves more people talking about her.
I can agree to an extent. Claudia isn't regressing as a character, she's still developing just not the way that hero's do or good guys do in this story. Claudia puts family above almost all else. Her father is her only family now so I don't find it odd that she wouldn't leave his side. Your also right in the antagonist route, she could make for a formidable villain if that's what they want to do with her but they need to give her motivation that keeps her character align to her story. Her relationship with her brother will be interesting to watch the next couple of seasons as he's the real key or hand that will eventually turn Claudia to bring her back to his side, if she's inclined to do so. Claudia is my favorite too such a fun character.

I'm not so sure if I should feel either sorry for Claud or not. Her father is definitely a bad influence on her.

I know that its only gonna get worst for her in the Next seasons but i really hope that she gets better, it's just so sad, bc she is not evil she is just blinded by her father. Honestly such a good antagonist

claudia is a character thats making bad choice and knows they are bad but keeps doing them. I have a feeling that at the end of this path she has chosen is her own death. She keeps choosing the wrong people to trust and she keeps doing things that are well-evil

Well she's still developing just not the way the audience wants. Her character arc is super fascinating to me and regardless of how it ends up for her Im really looking forward to her story line.

My biggest problem with the series is with Claudia and Soren, particularly in the way they, especially Soren, just go along with their villainous father’s evil schemes. What good reason had they to hunt the princes and kill them after their father was assassinated? The rationale given by Viren made no sense and Soren, who has no enmity with Callum and Ezran, ineptly tries to kill them just because?

I think that Claudia will become the main villain after, or along with viren, as she has showed great amounts of power, including necromancy. However i do not think that she will stay the villain, i think she will be manipulated to a point where she can’t take it any more, and that will lead to her being the main or one of the main antagonists. And i think that she will realise the manipulations of her father and Aaravos, and she will change, and defeat her father with soren.
