    DWs crash at 1:45:00. He had some angels lookin over him cuz there is absolutely no reason why that fuel & DWs car didn't catch fire & become an AMAZING inferno. It literally was a miracle! Between the hot exhaust & other blazing hot parts & the sheetmetal dragging all the way down the straightaway. I DO NOT understand how there was no fire & the directed took forever to even get there & they had to red flag it cuz it took them over 10mins just to clean all that fuel up there was so much! Unreal

    ESPN switched to tennis during the rain delay, and I was MAD! Then when one of the tennis players withdrew, I was really HAPPY!

      Yeah, it's a shame he was taken down. A lot of my edits wouldn't exist had it not been for race footage he shared with me

    This is the Bristol Motor Speedway I miss. Three-wide racing with the preferred groove next to the wall and Bristol should not be a thing. I don't care if they keep spraying the PJ1/TrackBite on the bottom, the groove works its' way higher as the race goes on. I want to see the fact that you have to run the bottom to pass and improve your position, and if you go up the track you get freight-trained losing precious positions. If they had the money, I would reconfigure the turns back to a uniform 36-degrees and narrow the width.

      What they needed to do was just resurface (repave) the concrete because it was cracking and chipping (ala Martinsville 2004). Just rip the old concrete out, apply the new concrete replacing it, smooth it out, and not change the specs! Yes progressive banking adds side-by-side racing, but it doesn't belong on a short track like Bristol (only Iowa). They also managed to ruin Texas Motor Speedway, and I wouldn't say they ruined Kentucky because Turns 1 and 2 needed to be narrowed up and actually have a legit apron. It has worked for tracks like Homestead and Kansas, but with Homestead having a 15-year old surface that's worn it has gone back to being a one-groove track where we see them rim-riding the turquoise walls, you don't see any inside passing. People have been giving me negative comments, but Ed Clark is making a big mistake of not repaving Atlanta. That asphalt is the same coat that was laid when it was reconfigured from a sister track to Homestead into a quad-oval as a sister track to Charlotte and Texas in the Summer of 1997. I was 6 years old and turned 7 when they did that and I just turned 28 this past October, it's time.

      In case you haven't noticed but Bristol has lost attendance since 2007s last race before the restructuring... It was not a great idea. A lot of people liked the track the way it was... Changing it was just not the right way to go.
      And for the record prior to the concrete being put in 92 the old asphalt track typically had the fast way around the top... A single lane... The repave with concrete in 92 actually made the track even more popular. Which was impressive given how much it had grown from the early 80s until the early 90s. The concrete track and the way it set up for racing made it even more popular. And by the way... North Wilkesboro was fastest around the bottom has well. And people loved that track too... Until that moron Bruton Smith bought it so he could just shut it down... What garbage.
