My younger sister is an addict. She asked me to listen to this song a few months ago. She said maybe it would help me and my older sister understand her better. It totally broke my heart, knowing that she feels this way about herself. This is a tough song to listen to but I loved your reaction. I'm new to your channel and I'm binge watching! Love you, girl!
@@lisaray9944 thank you for your prayers. Congrats on staying clean! I am keeping the faith for my sister. Thank you so much for reaching out. It means a lot to me. 😘
@@lisaray9944 I'm so happy that you have continued to beat your demons for so long and know that you will continue. This is a hard song. My niece was an addict she use to cry to me and say she wanted to stop and I truly believed her. She was diagnosed with Aids and gave up. She later died from her illness. 💔 That was over 14 years ago and I'm in tears writing this. I pray for all who sees this and going through addiction or have someone who is. God bless.
Addiction is an absolute nightmare and it’s normally some of the best and loving people that are stuck in it because they always try making others better and give so much but they don’t get the love and good feeling back so they find the relief in substance’s don’t give up on them that’s all I will say and when you pull them back from it you will have saved an amazing person
I also keep struggling with addiction my whole life I am 50 now and have lost my 5 year old daughter 2 times in her 5 years of life.dont get me wrong if it wasn't for my youngest sister taking care of her for me thru this time in my life I wouldn't know what to do she has saved me from losing her to the state and I am so appreciative for her .please pray for my wife and I that we get it together before it's to late even if my sister keeps her forever I pray my little diva will at least wanna be back in my life
Jelly Roll is one them artist, he does country, rock, and rap. I am not surprised that he doesn't sing the blues, but Jelly can sing a restaurant menu and it would be a gold record in no time.
My face looked just like yours the first time I heard Jellyroll. His music is a blessing to the human race! And he is currently on tour!!! CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 JELLYROLL!!!
Jelly was a rapper before, which is probably why he has such great bars. Check out his "10 minute freestyle" from his younger days. Something completely different, but still great.
Thank you for doing this reaction. I would have never listened to this artist, if I wasn't watching your reactions. My jaw dropped when he started singing, then by the end I was thinking of several people that I thow feel this way with the addictions. Lost my granddaughter to drugs. This song brought a tear to my eye. Thanks again for sharing your reactions. Love your channel. Have a blessed day. ❤
Check out Rag N Bone man then, similar tone, style, and a amazing voice like Jelly. Hes from across the pond in England but was also a former rapper and now sings. His songs Human and Skin are absolute bangers. I bought his album after only hearing two songs
He's similar to church in he does multiple genres. Started off doing gangster rap spending alot of his youth and half his 20s in and out of jail. Then moved more to country rap and then straight country and rock. Very talented and genuine dude. Check out fall in the fall by jelly roll and struggle jennings
Some of the biggest, bad ass looking guy's I've known, have had incredibly gentle souls. Soul, in my opinion, can't be seen. Pain, on the other hand, can be seen, heard, and felt. Fantastic reaction. Thank you.
You were right about the bars. Jelly is a rapper too. He 1st gained fame with rap & has now transitioned into singing more. He is so ridiculously talented. Going to see him & Struggle Jennings in Houston this Summer! I am SOOOO excited.😬❤
This song has nailed every emotion I've felt for the last 5 years. I'm still in the gutter but breathing. Nobody truly understands unless you've been there. I love your videos Britt!
Yeah. Jelly roll here. Is a Really. Great. Dude. He has a daughter. And a. Stunningly gorgeous. Wife. And to give you a quick. Little back story. About Jelly roll here. He used to sell drugs. And. Gang. Bang. When he was younger. Did a lot of time. In and out of. Prison. Because of it. The last time he went in. He found out that. He had a daughter. And that right there. Changed. Everything. For Jelly roll. And he gets out And started. Singing. Raping. and Country music. very good song. To listen to. Jilly roll. Would have to be. One of my all time favorites, but. That song is. Killin me. Music video. Please give a listen to if you can
Jelly was inspired by Craig Morgan's song almost home. Jelly joined Craig on stage at the grand old Opry and they sang almost home together. You need to see it.
Ok Britt I've binge watched your reactions and I'm a person watcher and I am refreshingly energized bye your way of opening up and hearing not just listening to what ever you may find. It's not often I am energized and that I rise due to another's raw natural and infectious spirit. I tend to be surrounded by people of trauma and I reflect back their greatness to them that they've forgotten and when they can see it again and hopeless helpless and impossible wastes of time which have become invisible to society for the most part and they embrace how valuable and Amazing they in fact are as each of us are. I think that moment is the richest I am in life. Not profitable but prophetic and more than hold or platinum. However to see a person such as yourself be so unconditionally willing to embrace the artists point of view and story and emotions with such ease and happiness. It's truely a gift to see. Thank you for for. I hope you do see your one of those like me lucky enough to be doing something you were made for not just doing something you settled for. If ever you wish to reach the stars . You should look within because that's exactly what you are. Shining bright and your spirit gas energized my weary soul and im whole again with the ability to enjoy life again. Thank you young lady. I hope you have a wonderfull life as I do although indigent recovery of addiction and trauma do take me to the limits. I love it more than anything else. Rise and live well.
I've lived in hell for many decades and looked for help in every corner but never received it or I more than likely ignored it. Then I discovered/learned of C-PTSD and a world of new understanding opened for me. I now understand myself better than ever before and believe the tragedies and trauma sung and described by Jelly are now behind me ... fingers are crossed.
Hello there Britt, I just found your reaction channel and I have to say that I have been watching reactions from several people and like many but you and one other are the only ones I have ever subscribed to. I have not noticed anyone saying how in-depth you are with your reactions and beyond that how good of a singer you are. I enjoy your comments and if you don't mind me saying for the short time you have been on you are the best. GREAT JOB!!!!
My sonnoassed 2 yrs ago n when i heard this song right around the time of his death n i know this is how he felt. Not because of addiction but because of a brain injury that took his memory, moral, n his self esteem. My son drank n dabled in alcohol n drugs, i dont believe he was addicted to drugs but i dus not notice the drinking n his depression was getting the best of him. He was posined by a fake pill that was all fentanyl. All of jelly roll music was my therapy to deal with my loss n i cry every time I hear this song because i believe this us exactly how he felt 💔 Robby firever 38, my only child 😢
I love Jelly he has so many great songs. He calls his music Therapy Music because it's so relatable to so many. His story is amazing and he uses his music to tell it in a great way. Smokin Section and If These Tears Could Talk are two of my favs. One features his daughter Bailey.
First you discovered Harry Mack, and now Jelly Roll.. Jelly at one point had the top trending country song(Son of a Sinner) and rock song(Dead Man Walking) at the same time. He’s probably the most versatile artist out there. He raps, sings, does rock, does country..
I so relate to this song I went thru alot of this in the late 80's and believe it or not still struggle today with job's. And it's hard but you have to make it what you can. Hard work pays of sometimes it's a btch but have you gotta do it.
Jelly is a whole vibe... his bars are crazy fire. He is so versatile. He is soooo real... since you're an upchurch fan also, check out Vows, (How can you) Blame Us...
This video was my intro to Jelly a couple years ago during Covid. I broke out in goosies n started crying. Felt like he was singing to me. He sings forthe lost and the broken, as he says Therapeutic Music. Please react to his live versionof Only n Lovethe Heartless. It's special as well. New sub! ❤
I would highly recommend watching his first appearance at the Grand Ole Opry, and after that one watch a later appearance at the Grand Ole Opry in which he performed with a country artist named Craig Morgan.. Pretty beautiful moment.
Check out Creature, The Bottom, Even Angels Cry, Train Tracks, Same Ole A$$H##e, Can't Go Home, Fall Into Fall, Son Of A Sinner. That's a start. Jelly Roll a singer about life subjects!♥️✌️

jelly roll struggle and upchurch outlaw classics. Jelly roll has so many good songs to react to
