When I lost my husband tragically 10 years ago at the age of 32, creating art has become my life preserver and has kept my head above the drowning waters of grief. Mental Awareness Through Art.

Thank you for the awesome interview! Tiffany, you are adorable! Love your son's creations too! I loved seeing your collage fodder storage book you made. Loved it! The little dolls are wonderful! I would love to know how to make those. One of them looks like the queen!

Just viewed this. I joined The Handmade Book Club in March & love Ali Manning. I recently took Free Fodder Challenge & joined Fodder School so I have lots of inspiration to put in books I will create. Thx to both of you.

I just signed up for Fodder School 1 but I’m not really interested in doing flowers. So I’m assuming I can translate that to other objects

a fun conversational interview & samples that inspire. 5 unrelated ads in addition to the normal intro ad is a bit much though.

I would LOVE to take the Fodder School course, but it’s just too pricey for me.😢

Just this morning I discovered Fodder School and thought I really can’t afford to spend that much of my soc security check right now. But by signing up for the newsletter, I got a wonderful class for free…it was a treat to have my coffee(s) and watch it! Loved this interview. It’s a miracle we all survived the pandemic in more ways than one but I am also one of those who stayed out of the darkness by creating with my hands and staying busy!

      Agreed, it's very expensive.
I joined fodder school 2 on a whim, and regret my spend. Although I have enjoyed many of the classes, a lot of them don't interest me as I don't make tags, junk journals or cards for that matter.
Another thing that has struck me, is how alike all the student work is. Very much a clone of the founders styles, and not a lot of originality.

I’ve only recently become aware of the idea of collage fodder. A lot of it is definitely very attractive but nearly every video I see, people are producing almost identical work. It’s great if it’s used to jump start inspiration but such a shame that everyone is just copying the same ideas.

About 5 minutes in and had to comment. Why is there so much happy surprise that a 6 year old boy learned to sew and make a quilt?
My brother picked up sewing quicker than i, and that was in the 1970s.
We really haven't progressed far in our supposed gender roles when in 2022 we are congratulating a Mum for teaching her children craft.
I love mixed media and art journalling but its overly dominated by women with very stereo typical aesethetics.
Enough with the cute, pink, flowers and butterflies. Where is the dark, grungy, punk, dare i say it, boyish art?
In fact, where are the men/boys.
    Ok, end of soapbox rant.
