I'm taking delivery of a new 2022 ES 300H soon and was wondering how I'd learn all of the features. This tutorial is the answer! Thank you for making this, what a time saver!
@@davidkirkham6497 Loving it and happy I got my order in in February before the price increase. The car is getting 43-44 MPG as advertised. I highly recommend that car.

Lexus should pay her to make tutorial videos ! Thank you just got a used 2022 es for my son college graduation present. This will help us learn how to take advantage of features
Thanks so much for your comment! 😊 I love helping everyone learn all about their new Lexus vehicles and I really appreciate your support! I hope you're enjoying your ES!
Question: under Ultra Luxury features on my sticker(for the es300h UL) it lists Passenger Power Seats with Lexus Memory System then on some other MSRP stickers for the same model (9044A) it doesn't list that? Any idea why or what that actually is? There are no memory buttons on the passenger door? Thanks
Congrats on your 22 ES300h!Such a beautiful vehicle. Passenger Memory would definitely have the Position Memory buttons on the passenger door. Just like the buttons the driver's door. It is only memorizing seat position and is an additional option on some builds. It is not an option I see very often. I don't think they build many of them. I did have one customer I worked with you special ordered a car with that feature so he could more easily adjust the seats for an elderly parent he was caring for. Seemed like a great idea for that circumstance. I hope this helps clear up the mystery. Thanks very much for tuning in with us!
It has been a month since buying my 2022 RX350L, and I love mine as well! I did consider the new ES350 Ultra Luxury or F Sport. Every time I see one, I think to myself, "How fast can I get my hands on one of those?" 🤤

Thank you for the fantastic tutorial, Melissa! If my wife had to listen to me try to explain the features of our new Elegant Sedan, she probably would tune me out. You have a great voice and an excellent presentation style. We much appreciate this video. Thanks again!
Hi John! You just cracked me up! LOL! I'm very glad to help keep the peace and teach you and your wife about your beautiful new Lexus! Thanks so much for tuning in with me!
The lady in this video is very good in explaining. She has fully understood the numerous features of the vehicle to be so comfortable to explain. With her articulation skills, she will be equally good in several other jobs such as teaching. I am thankful here for this great explanation. Need to take multiple breaks to go test out the features and assimilate them.
I live in Connecticut but based on this thorough tutorial maybe I should travel to Northside Lexus to make my next Lexus purchase. Thank you to Melissa and the Northside team for such a helpful presentation.

@@Roker22 Hi Tom, yes. Looking in the technical specs for the ES 350 it does have Active Noise Control. I wasn't able to locate anything in the Owner's Manuals for it, but here's a nice video from Lexus of Canada if you need an explanation about how it works. th-cam.com/video/dhGmMXSUpAQ/w-d-xo.html
Just picked up my E350 from the dealership today. Had a thorough walkthrough but this was extremely detailed and very thoughtful for a new owner. Many thanks l!
This was really helpful! My dealer gave me a good rundown, but some stuff like the smart locks wasn't included, so it was really nice to find such a detailed walkthrough! One thing I thought I'd mention to any hybrid owners is that you can use the "charge" meter of the MID to see how much of the regenerative braking you're using. Being at the max means your normal brakes will be used as well. With this information you can brake gently enough to almost never need to change your pads because you'll normally be using the hybrid engine to brake!
Thanks so much! Yes, Regenerative Braking is an awesome feature on all of the Lexus hybrids and definitely reduces the wear and tear on the pads. Great tip!
@@barbaramorris7932 Hi, Barbara, sorry for the delay. Regenerative Braking is used to build a charge for the hybrid battery through the braking process. Most cars brake with hydraulic brakes. The pads squeeze or press against the rotors to slow down the vehicle. With Regenerative Braking, the Motor/Generators on your hybrid, operate in their generator mode to slow the wheel spin, and instead of powering the vehicle they slow the vehicle down. During the braking process an energy load is built up and redirected to the hybrid battery to boost its charge. At about 10 miles per hour the hydraulic brakes engage for the final stop. This is an older video from Toyota about regenerative braking that you might enjoy: th-cam.com/video/mnxPOTzIhfg/w-d-xo.html The setup of the system at time is a little different, but their description of how the system works is really nice. Hope it helps.
@@usha6883 regenerative braking, for the most part, happens when you take your foot off the Excelerator pedal and the vehicle begins to slow down. If you look at the energy flow monitor you can even see the graphic showing energy flowing toward the battery. 👍
Aww! You're so sweet! Thank you for your positive feedback! I'm thrilled to be a part of your learning journey. Thank you very much for tuning in to learn with me!
This is a great tutorial, thank you so much! I just took possession of the 2022 ES 350 3 weeks ago. You've helped make understanding this vehicle so much easier. Thank you!
Thanks so much. I just bought my first Lexus, and the buying experience was very good. However, after all the papers were signed my salesman took me out front, handed me the keys and said thanks. Just got my 2022 Lexus ES 350 F-sport. Thank you for this video. It proved to be very helpful. Plus I don’t have to read the encyclopedia thick owners manual. 😂
My ES 350 Ultra Luxury is on its way to me! Does the HUD show navigation points ? The car I’m currently driving show a linear graph closing in as you near a “turn off” road. Gives a great sense of gauging being in the correct lane.
Hi Wanda. Congrats on your new ES! The HUD will show each next turn within about a quarter mile of that turn, but it doesn’t keep the full route or multiple turns up the entire time. I hope this helps. Thank so much for watching!
For the next turn point a simplified line drawing of the turn junction/intersection street/road layout is shown with a larger blue filled-in angled arrow showing the direction and angle of the turn. Underneath the graphic in text is the street/road name (if one exists in the navigation database) and under that is a counting down distance display usually starting out in tenths of a mile, switching to feet at around 300 feet counting down by decrements of 100s, and then switching to decrements of 10s until reaching the actual point to turn. I haven't checked but I presume the distance is displayed in kilometers and meters if that's how the vehicle setting have been configured.
Thanks so much! There are a lot of similarities on the 2020 ES. Here’s the deep dive tutorial I made for it: 2020 Lexus ES Full Tutorial - Deep Dive th-cam.com/video/PulDLk8cnjs/w-d-xo.html. I hope it helps!
Thanks for the tutorial. absolutely awesome. Wish I had found this before. My dealer did not explain anything. I have 3 questions 1) what is ready sign in green mean? 2) how do i charge my phone if it is an old phone not equipped with wireless charging feature? 3) sometimes "AGC" flashes in green what is this?
Hi Usha! Thanks so much for tuning in! I'm happy to help! 1. "Ready" shows on all hybrid models to indicate that the vehicle is on and ready to be driven. Since the gas engine does not always come on when you turn the vehicle on, it is a visual indicator letting you know you are ready to go. 2. The USB ports and the 12-Volt accessory charger can be used for charging older phones. 3. This is what the Owner's Manual says for Auto Glide Control (basically it is designed to help with fuel economy) ■Auto Glide Control: When Auto Glide Control operates, the AGC indicator light will illuminate. ●While driving in Eco drive mode with D position, selected, releasing the accelerator pedal will activate Auto Glide Control under certain conditions. (AutoGlide Control may activate before the accelerator pedal is fully released.) When Auto Glide Control operates, the electric motor (traction motor) will be controlled, reducing the deceleration force and allowing the vehicle to coast, enhancing fuel economy. All the best! Melissa
I have not discovered a tutorial film footage one like this one to know a professional expert doing a fabulous job giving almost a 2hour tutorial for people to view and see especially anyone who would wanna take up a career in car sales. @@NorthsideLexus I enjoyed it, for my love grew for cars and this is now why I'm chasing up on film footages, to gain knowledge and also to grow my knowledge. People say that as boys, they love to talk about cars. But I was never that type and now somehow something's changed in me that I think that it's a change of direction I take for a career in car sales if I can, and that probably depends on the age bracket. My knowledge grew in the building industry, for it was probably in the early days of primary school, dad took me to work with him weekends and I probably started carrying four to five bricks with two hands when I was probably 7 or 8 years of age and there heavier bricks. But for now, my ministry's to be a care worker for my father; and so, really I don't have plans in mind but to say that I have him and he has me in mind. I did no graduation in high school but I hope my English literacy's good enough to read and understand.
Hello, I loved your tutorial. I was wondering when you mentioned that you changing the temperature is done by the factory, does this mean if my temperature is showing up as Celsius on the climate control I am unable to change it to Fahrenheit since this was done at the factory.
Thanks so much! You are correct, the temperature readout for the climate control and the outside temperature are set by the factory and can not be changed in the settings. Only the measurement for the Weather feature can be customized. I hope this helps to clarify it for you. Thanks again for tuning in with me!
Another superb, articulate, and outstanding tutorial by Mellisa. She is so pleasant, as well. One item that I found puzzling on my 2022 ES350 is the fuel filler door and how to attach the cover to it. It does not stay open; it flips. Moreover, I find it difficult
Hi ELeANOR! Thanks so much for your sweet message! I'm so glad you're enjoying the tutorials. I have not heard about a fuel door not being able to stay open. I would ask your Lexus Service department to take a look at the spring mechanism on the fuel door. Perhaps they can check to see that it is properly adjusted. When you open it, it should click into place and stay there until up pull it closed. I sure hope they can help you with it.
Fantastic video! As a note, I have the 2022 ES 300h with the wireless charging shelf in the console. There are no USB-C ports, only a 12V outlet. I think they drop the ports if the car has wireless charging.
Thanks so much, Mark! Wow, great catch. Perhaps to make room for the wireless charging components that have to remove the other ports? Thanks for the heads up! Congratulations on your ES 300h and thank you for tuning in with me!
Hello Melissa, great tutorial. I just picked up my certified 2022 es350 base trim with premium pages. I am wondering if the power folding mirrors are heated and if controlled by the rear defroster?
Hi Paul, The side mirrors on the ES are usually auto dimming and heated and the Rear defrost will control them and the back window. Do you see two boxes on the rear button? One will be larger than the other, that's for the rear window. The other is shaped like the side mirrors. You should also see a film element on the mirror itself. It has a bit of an edge to it. I hope this helps. Thanks very much for tuning in with me.
@@NorthsideLexus thank you for the quick reply. I did find The rear defroster button with two rectangular boxes, one large and the other smaller, but the side mirrors only have driver assist emblems, there is no other film element.
@@pauljindra2057 Hi! Looking in the Owner's Manual for the US builds, I don't see anything about the defogger for the side mirrors being optional. Here's what it says in the OM: "■ Defogging the rear window and outside rear view mirrors Defoggers are used to defog the rear window, and to remove raindrops, dew and frost from the outside rear view mirrors. Press the rear window and outside rear view mirror defoggers switch. The defoggers will automatically turn off after 15 to 60 minutes. The operation time changes according to the ambient temperature and vehicle speed." I hope this helps. If you think they aren't operating as designed, I would have a Lexus technician take a look at them so you know everything is operating is it should. Best of luck with it. Great Video! Just picked up a 2022 ES with navigation. Two questions - is it possible to get that split screen with Apple Car Play on one side? (if so how). Also in order to use Apple Car Play does your phone need to be plugged in charging via USB?
Hi Marty! Congrats on your new ES! Yes, Apple CarPlay requires a tether to the USB port to mirror the information from your phone to the 22 ES screen and once you plug in and launch CarPlay it takes over the full screen so the Lexus right side menu bar is not available. I hope this helps explain it. Thank very much for tuning in!

Melissa, can you help me figure out how to turn off steering assist? I have a 2022 ES 300h with the luxury trim. Steering assist has never done anything for me other than fight me when I'm trying to avoid an obstacle or need to make a sudden, legitimate move across a lane marker. It appears I can turn off the warning but cannot turn off steering assist. Am I missing something? Thanks.
Hi Mark, Sorry for the delay. another question- it is about headlamp operation. I have it on "auto" i don't see the symbols of running light and high that I see on your screen - time stamp 24;53
Hi. The symbols will show up when the headlights turn on automatically or if you manually turn them on. When Auto is selected, you will not see the symbols while the lights are not operating. Except for the for auto high beams. You will see that light when the feature is turned on. Hope this helps.
Fantastic tutorial! Very clear instructions and spoken slowly and concise. HOWEVER, after setting my Meter Settings I can not find the Meter Settings ? Why and where can I find them? I want to change the odometer back to see the number I am traveling at located above the P, D etc. I changed it to see the speed as a “regular “ odometer. I need the Meter Settings again. Hi Lori! Thanks so much for watching. Here's how to locate the Meter Settings. Using the four arrow buttons on the steering wheel: arrow left or right until you are on the Settings Menu (it has a small gear at the top) > arrow up or down until you see Meter Settings > press the button in the center of the four arrow to open Metered Settings and you will see all of the available settings in that menu, including Speed Meter. Hi! The 2022 ES comes from the factory with only wired Apple CarPlay. The ES had a refresh for the 23 model year and got the new multimedia system that is compatible with factory wireless CarPlay. I'm sorry I don't have a kit I can recommend. Thanks very much for checking in with me.
Hello I just purchased a 2022 ES 350 last week and I love it so far. Here is my question...when the backup camera is on, how do you get the dynamic yellow gridlines to show? Mine won't come on, no matter what I do. Thank you.
Hi @JayBoogie3820 Try this: keeping your foot on the brake, shift into reverse, look for a clickable thumbnail on the lower right corner of the backup image. Click on that to toggle through the view and line options. If that doesn't get it, then I would take it to your Lexus dealer for them to reinitialize the camera lines. It is not a long process and they should be able to do that for you very quickly. Sometimes in transport it can lose that calibration. Hope this helps. Thanks for tuning in with us!
Hi! Thanks very much for tuning in. To turn Traction Control back on, just press the button again and the "Traction Control Off" message will clear and the feature will be back on. Hope this helps!
If this is a similar setup to the 2022 RX350L, on the far right, there is a navigation icon, then a music note underneath that, a a few more icons. About 4 or 5 total icons, in a vertical layout. The last one on the bottom will allow the split screen to be full. If you want it split again, you can hit that last icon again (bottom right).
Gabriel has it right! Just click on the small icon with the right facing arrow at the very bottom right corner of the screen. There are so times when the screen still may split to show additional NAV pop-up info, but a lot of that can be turned off in your NAV settings as well. Hope this helps. Thanks for tuning in!
@Northside Lexus Thank you! I am enjoying my new Lexus as well! I bought mine out of state and had it delivered to me. This is my first Lexus. I found your videos, and you have been extremely helpful to me as well! I searched for your videos, and I found my answers there. Thank you again, and have a great holiday!
Question. My wife and I are looking on getting an ES300h. But we cannot find an appropriate color rendition of the interior ACORN color to chose the interior we want. Could you help us and send a good rendition of this color to us???? Thanks
Hi Ed, I'm sorry I don't have access to resources like that. I'm waiting for one to arrive at our dealership so I haven't see one in real life. It looks like a beautiful brown, but I'm not sure if it leans more toward a chocolate brown or something brighter. Sorry I'm not able to be of more help.
Does the 2022 ES 300h come with a spare tire too? Also, at around 25:00 you mentioned pushing the button at the end of the left stalk. This is a neat feature, the Auto-high-beam. While driving at night, as long as there isn't an approaching car, the car will switch to high beam to improve visibility; it will drop to low beam when another car approaches. This is really nice. Nice to avoid the scolding high beam flashes from oncoming cars if we forget to drop from high beam! :) As to the LTA (Lane Tracing Assist) and lane keeping and centering in the lane feature, it works most of the time but sometimes gets distracted if the lane markings are not clear, like when there is a lane merging on to the highway you are on. The car behaves just a bit drunk in such situations. The 2018 Tesla used to be like that, but with progressive software upgrades, the Tesla Autopilot only rarely does that now. But unlike Tesla, the 2022 ES gives more freedom to adjust the steering to stay safe. Whereas with the Tesla Autopilot, if you pull the steering to one side or other, the car will give a scolding DING and turn off Autopilot! :)
Hi Raja, Yes, the ES typically comes with a spare tire, unless you have run flat tires on your vehicle. That is when we don't usually receive a spare. Great question and observations! I also love the Auto High Beam feature. Very convenient. I haven't driven on Autopilot in a Tesla yet! It sounds pretty exciting. I was in a Lexus training recently where they were hinting at some new technology called Team Mate. They have had at least one press release about it, but not much detail yet. It won't be fully autonomous, but it seems like we will have some very exciting new features coming down the line. Thanks for tuning in with us!
A lot of great improvements, though shouldn't the gearstick shift have a gap before it gets into drive so if you want to use the paddles, it should be a conscious choice. Almost like a lower-case t upside down. So drive is at the bottom, to use the paddles us a deliberate movement on the "cross" line
Hi Dan, thanks for your question. To use the paddle shifters you need to first shift into Drive (at the bottom of the gear box) and then shift again, this time to the left, into the "S" position for sport or manual shifting. Check the video at 52:18 for an example. I hope this helps. Thanks again for tuning in.
@@NorthsideLexus Your explanation of the operation of the paddle shifters and the shift level S position for he current generation of the ES is incorrect. Unlike some other transmission models where the paddles and S position do shift individual gears under manual control, in the current generation all the paddle shifters or S positioning does is select the upper limit of the possible gear ranges used by the transmission. (See note 2 in the Chapter 4 "Automatic transmission" section of the ES 350 Owner's Manual on page 149 in the 2022 pdf version.) For example, if the S-mode is set to S4, the transmission will will only use the gears in the range of 1 to 4 for the automatic shifting response; however, the transmission's computer will override that if necessary to prevention transmission and/or engine damage.
@@GouRP2022 Great detailed description. There are different versions of how the paddle shifters work. They operate differently on the all gas, hybrid, F and the new F-Sport Performance vehicle versions. Unfortunately I'm not able to go into detail since I'm trying to cover a model that may have two or three different types of operation for the Paddles Shifters. For Guests who want more details about that system, the Owner's Manual or some of the more technical reviews on TH-cam would be a better fit. Thanks for the feedback.
Hi! Many ESs are built in Kentucky in the US, but some are built in Japan. Toyota Miyata Plant - Miyawaka, Fukuoka, Japan - assembles the Lexus IS and ES. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky, Inc. - Georgetown, Kentucky, United States - assembles the Lexus ES. Thanks for checking in!
Problem for me…we are buying the “base” model and I assume all the things she’s showing are not on our base model. I would like a turorial on just the base. Is there a place for me to go for just the base model.
Hi Janis, Thanks so much for checking in. Since it is just me to make the videos, along with my full time job at the dealership, I have to make the most of any opportunity I have to film and edit. Unfortunately, I'm not able to make all of the versions that are requested. I do my best to cover as much as possible from the vehicles I have access to in my area. It does mean that not all of the features will be on each and every person's new Lexus, but hopefully you will find that many of the features will still apply to your base model. Thanks again for tuning in.
I'm seriously thinking of an ES350 Ultra Lux, to replace my 10 year old Genesis, a year from now. $50,000 to $55,000, is a lot easier to throw down than $70,000, for a top of the line G80. I haven't had any failures of any sort, but 10 years is 10 years. ....Maybe by next year, the ES will have a Blind spot camera. Question about the USB ports that are (or may be) in the center console. Are they charge only, or can you plug in a USB memory stick, full of Gigs of music, that you can play through the sound system?
Hi. Car shopping is a whole new adventure for sure. So much has changed with all of the technology on board. The ES has had a Blind Spot Monitor system for many years, but none of the vehicles have a Blind Spot Camera yet. That will be really cool. USB music is still capable on all Lexus models, but I find Guests have challenges with formatting. The systems really favor streaming services or music downloaded to a mobile device and not a flash drive that can have much more restrictive formatting requirements. Many drives have a large capacity and when they are full of music, the car has to process all of the data in the library to be used with the voice command system, and it does it before the phonebook loads so there can be a lot of lag. If you use small flash drives and break up your library that can help. Thanks for checking in.
I am thinking to buy 2024 es300h next month. There are 3 different trim in korea. I am looking for middle one which name is luxury plus. But top trim name is executive has performance damper and test car also executive model. So i tested it and decided to buy. But i am worrying about difference between two models. I am not intending anything(3 beams headlight, wireless charger etc) without performance damper. I have watched your rx videos about performance damper but it is about rx and also f sport. So do u have any experience for this difference?
Hi. The performance dampers can be on a variety of different models, not just the RX, but they are usually on an f-sport package here in the US. The ES has a very smooth ride and the hybrid will have peak torque at zero RPMs so it can still feel sporty. Beyond that, you may want to talk with a Technician who has more training on how the dampers help on each model. Thanks for being here.
Aren’t cars like this easier to steal? Since keeping the key fob close is enough to open them? And they can easily be opened from outside when someone is in the car?
Hi Karma. The sensors for the key fob have a low proximity range, basically you have to be close to the sensor on the car so you can touch it to complete the signal. So if someone is on the other side of the car they can not open the doors if they are locked. Also if you are inside the car with the doors locked they can not be opened from the outside. All cars do require a key of some sort so if someone was able to get the key of any car then they could access any car they have the key for. Most people don’t take their smart key out of the pocket or bag, so you are not fumbling for keys out the vehicle. That is an added safety feature. I hope this helps you better understand the smart key system. Thanks for tuning in.

Hello Melissa I have a 2022 es350 with Navagation & premium package. It seems the vehicle setup is disabled that you cover at 1:39:41. How do I get this turned on to enable. ?
Hi! This should be accessible as long as the vehicle is turned on, not in accessory mode, stopped and in park. If the settings are still not showing you will need to check with your Lexus service department to see why the settings are not accessible. Anything in the menu that you see on your vehicle should be clickable as long as the car is on and in Park. I hope this helps. Thanks for tuning in with me!
Hi that feature on this model and year needs to be changed at your Lexus dealership. When you are in for your next service you can have them connect the computer for customizations like this and let them know you want the Lane Change feature changed to 5 flashes instead of the default 3 flashes. Thanks for checking in.
With my old Honda when I did the remote start the lights would go on which is helpful at night walking in a dark parking lot. Is there a way for the Lexus lights to go on automatically?
Hi Rich, the indicator lights will flash when the car is remotely started and the puddle lamps/welcome lamps will come on when you approach the vehicle at night, but I have not seen a setting for customizing the headlight operation. Some Lexus Enform vehicle have a remote action to turn on the Hazard Lights. If you see that in your app, that may be your best option. The newest Lexus Interface vehicles will have additional advanced actions, like flashing the headlights. It will take a few years for that new system to work its way onto all of the models. Thanks again for being here.

It's been almost 1 month since I picked up my 2022 ES300h Ultra Luxury and I love it! Fantastic tutorials!

Hi! So awesome to have you here! Congratulations on your new ES! Thanks very much for tuning in!
Great tip!
@@NorthsideLexus What is Regenerative Braking?? I just bought a ES300h.
@@NorthsideLexus can you expalin how do I know if I am using regenerative braking
@@usha6883 regenerative braking, for the most part, happens when you take your foot off the Excelerator pedal and the vehicle begins to slow down. If you look at the energy flow monitor you can even see the graphic showing energy flowing toward the battery. 👍

3. This is what the Owner's Manual says for Auto Glide Control (basically it is designed to help with fuel economy)
■Auto Glide Control: When Auto Glide Control operates, the AGC indicator light will illuminate.
●While driving in Eco drive mode with D
position, selected, releasing the accelerator pedal will activate Auto Glide Control under certain conditions. (AutoGlide Control may activate before the accelerator pedal is fully released.) When Auto Glide Control operates, the electric motor (traction motor) will be controlled, reducing the deceleration force and allowing the vehicle to coast, enhancing fuel economy.
All the best! Melissa

It does not stay open; it flips. Moreover, I find it difficult
to attach the cover. That is the only item I found missing in this tutorial.
Hi ELeANOR! Thanks so much for your sweet message! I'm so glad you're enjoying the tutorials. I have not heard about a fuel door not being able to stay open.
Here's what it says in the OM:

Hi! Thanks very much for tuning in. To turn Traction Control back on, just press the button again and the "Traction Control Off" message will clear and the feature will be back on. Hope this helps!
Great video as usual, is there a way to turn off the split screen permanently , tia.
Thanks so much for helping, Gabriel! You ROCK!
@Northside Lexus Thank you! I am enjoying my new Lexus as well! I bought mine out of state and had it delivered to me. This is my first Lexus. I found your videos, and you have been extremely helpful to me as well! I would try to figure things out myself so that I would be familiar with the vehicle, but there have been a few things I couldn't figure out myself. I searched for your videos, and I found my answers there. Thank you again, and have a great holiday!
@@gabrielcolon5245 Happy Holidays to you too! Congratulations on your new Lexus! Thanks again for being here with us!

Many many thanks! So glad you're here!
@@NorthsideLexus Thank you for advising me. I head that the service Dept in a town 40 miles away has one. Blessings

As to the LTA (Lane Tracing Assist) and lane keeping and centering in the lane feature, it works most of the time but sometimes gets distracted if the lane markings are not clear, like when there is a lane merging on to the highway you are on.
Do you think the ES will exceed the RX as Lesux's best selling vehicle?
I wish I had a crystal ball to answer that for you. They are both amazing vehicles!
Hi. Where Lexus ES 350h , ES350 2024 models are being built (Japan or US ) ?
Thank you 👌🏽
You’re so welcome 😊 Thanks for tuning in!
@@NorthsideLexus Thanks for the reply. The ES350 Lux or Ultra Lux is now at the top of my list.
Please mention the air vent for the battery in the back seat which needs to remain open and not covered by a blanket etc
Always a great reminder for our hybrid drivers. Thanks so much.
Lexus in Texas. Nice
Thanks so much, Eric!
Well done.

Great video
So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks very much for tuning in!
@@NorthsideLexus thank you so much for ur clarification. I like the channel and the videos u guys post. Another stupid question, do all new Lexus come with the Multimedia infotainment center? Even if we don’t purchase the Lexus interface package that is 1,000 when ordering a vehicle? I was gonna factory order a new 2023 Lexus and I see the 1k package option of Lexus interface with multimedia center and drive connect navigation and intelligent assistance. So that’s all extra and isn’t needed to be purchased to have the 12.3 inch infotainment center correct???
@@Karma-hy6ki No worries! For the new Lexus cars that have Lexus Interface, all screen sizes will have wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, the new audio system, etc. The larger screen package will also include a Drive Connect free trial. The small screens are still compatible with Drive Connect, but there is a monthly subscription required to have that bundle turned on. (Maps, Destination Assist Operator and Intelligent Assistant for $16/month)
I hope this helps!
@@NorthsideLexus ok got it, so all new Lexus come with the infotainment center, but like u said the non navigation ones will have the standard screen size (aka the smaller one) but with the 1k package option of Lexus interface with navigation and drive connect, it will be the full 12.3 inch screen size. Got it
The cargo net and first aid kit , are they free or come included in the msrp of the vehicle? I know some dealers try to sell em as added options
Hi Kas. To my knowledge, the First Aid kit comes with the car. The cargo nets are all additional items that can be added. The packages that come on the vehicles can vary by region and are put together by each Lexus Area Office team. Cargo nets and other accessories can also be purchased through your Lexus Dealership's Parts Department. They can help make sure you are selecting compatible accessories for your vehicle. Thanks so much for tuning in with us!
I just had my ES300H a week ago and this video really helps to learn most of the features. I'm trying to find out how to work on the projection setting so I'll be able to mirror my phone with navigation. I connected my phone to the usb port but nothing happened. Please advise. Thanks for the tutorial
Hi Damon, Thanks so much for watching! If plugging your iPhone in doesn't launch Apple CarPlay automatically here are the steps to try: 1. On the car: Menu > Setup Projection Settings > make sure Apple CarPlay is turned On. Reboot your iPhone and then plug in again. 2. Try a different cord. Make sure it is an authentic Apple cord or a data certified cord. 3. On the iPhone: Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Allowed Apps > CarPlay I hope this helps, Thanks again for being here!
@@NorthsideLexus I have an Android Samsung phone and I'd tried an USB cable that I was able to transfer data files from phone to computer with no issues. Thanks

How to change the number of times the turn signals flashes - from default 3 to 5?
