      Thank you for the words of inspiration. She has a little bit of rust but I see just a beautiful machine that needs some love. I will post some pics of her when I get a chance.

      @@gemi69al41 please do! Id love to see you working alongside your boys we can't let the car hobby ever die! I fear with all the talk of electric vehicles replacing internal combustion we won't be able to share our how to or knowledge to our kids like in days past when the fun part was making a vehicle run and drive with some elbow grease and some beers nowadays you need a laptop lol 🤦‍♂

    This video so far brings me mixed emotions. The 65 chevelle is my all time favorite classic car, it was made the same year I was. Its cool to see a father and son doing this together, but I question some of the ways its getting done. That patch you did on tje lower quarter panel, there was more rust there than what the patch covered. And what was up with all the rust on the underside ot the trunk lid.I saw shiny new studs from the trim with nuts going on and tons of rust all around it. Maybe Im seeing things but I dont think so. Thr car comes out looking great, But how long will it last?

    Is the the thing mini tubed or anything since it has so much rear tire I’m restoring my 65 ss as well

    • @AsphaltManiaks
      @AsphaltManiaks  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I asked the owner and he said it was mini tubed in order to be able to fit such a wide tire. Stock wheel wells wouldn't cut it.

      @@AsphaltManiaks that's what I thought cause I can only fit 245s on mine beautiful job though man

      @@whiteoutram0516 Thanks brotha. The car had all the modifications done before we did the paint and body so the owner knows a bit more about those fabrications. If I get some info tho ill sure let ya know a bit more about the history of the vehicle!

    most of this is cleaning the interior - vacuuming the carpets . . . you even talk about and show us cleaning the cup-holders. Basically a vid on detailing - not very interesting. More on mechanics would be good.
