Hi friend! Since I have complex PTSD I cannot meditate, since it does much more harm than good. My path this life is more about healing trauma, working with the body and all levels of hidden energies there, with mental metaphysics and being authentic and intimately true in interpersonal relationships. That is my work. I have a friend who is recognized by several people to have been a zen teacher in a past embodiment. All meditation back then at such high levels still left him to come back and work on other sides of his soul structure. He is a fairly troubled soul and that life as a meditation master didn't do much on his shadow aspects of the self. He is now working mostly by means of teachers like Peter Levine, Gabor Maté and also in depth psychology. With this said, I must give credit to Rudolf Steiner who said that the mystics of bygone eras may have been on lower evolutionary stages than some folks that wrestling with inner turmoil today.
I appreciate your post here…I’m aware that meditation isn’t the beginning or the end for everyone but it was for me and it’s my task to pass that on…that being said I’m interested in what you said and the honesty with which you said it as I believe this releasing of the karmic burden is a crucial point…what is your opinion about this? Btw if you’d like to continue this via email let me know peterdhaskins@yahoo.com
Wisdom on Easter Monday. Theosis is the central point to be understood. The Resurrection is about awakening to our Christ nature. We can ourselves look (or peak) into the empty tomb and see the emptiness of Self staring back at us. The body has indeed gone. Mary Magdalen proclaims 'they have taken the lords body away, and I don't know where they have taken it'.
George!! Easter blessings dear friend 🌻you are missed!! It would be wonderful to see you in again! Either way, great to hear you again, blessings and stay in touch 🐣
Your last book is such an inspiration!! Thank you for bringing this issue that is so vital to our journey. Yes, we are our own biggest problem. Happy Easter my friend andvthan you for this relevant message. Theosis.
Blessings to you. I came across your videos last night and I find a connection to the inner most through the teachings you share. I want to ask, have you ever come across the work of Samael Aun Weor and Glorian/Chicago Gnosis?
Good morning! What a wonderful message from you! No I have not… can you clarify ‘Chicago Gnosis’? I discovered Robin Amis and Praxis Research Institute while living in Chicago in the late 90s…
@@esotericcircle4364 youtube.com/@chicagognosis?si=cW0fBJ2cI6zfqXyx here is a link to Chicago Gnosis’s TH-cam Channel. The instructor is a follower of the Samael Aun Weor teachings but shares stuff by Gurdjieff and other esoteric masters. Glorian.org is also a great resource for similar teachings. 🙏
Excellent stuff! I took a class with Dr. Ashanin on Dante’s divine comedy and we saw a diagram about Dante’s book and I referred to some of the drawings of God’s glory as “stuff” which got quite a laugh!
Jeff! I hope you have had a blessed Easter my friend!! I wish I had met Ashanin sooner and taken some less general classes…my first was his last semester…
