Why is it called "Midnight Mass"?

Miriam Havard GREAT question! So my understanding is because it’s soooo hot 🥵 in this area like 110 degrees the shows popularity grew from most of the patrons arriving later in the day and lasting until Midnight. A good 10-12 thousand people come to this show every year! It’s worth braving the heat! 😊
