I don't get why Altered Beast and Golden Axe's PC Engine ports blew all their budget on fancy openings and forgetting there was a whole game they needed to port.

@@murder.simulator only the background music is CD quality. sound effects are still generated by consoles themselves an are generally not good back in this era

@@murder.simulator That's even funnier in Altered Beast's case given the voice samples, but that's actually the only thing the PC-Engine version got right.
...By just using the Arcade samples. That the intro already used. But didn't use its music.

The presentation and cutscenes I actually like, now if they could have married those with the Arcade version of Golden Axe this would have been the perfect version. Shame that the actual game is such a poor version.😢

When you compile horrible incompetent conversion with long, crappy, ugly anims and rape the original sound - You get PISSY ENGINE version.
