      This has nothing to do with the new DA minister. This is a historical problem for this country. The minister is now in a position to find a solution to this problem, but it is not a problem that she started. Leave the blame game on this. Our country still needs to heal together and TRUTHFULLY for the things that happened in apartheid. These kids are carrying generational trauma, some of which wouldn't even know they are. The ANC in their 30 years of power did nothing to change the landscape of our society. These kids are being raised by people who still carry the scars of apartheid. They are learning this stuff at home. And racism goes both ways now, not just white's being racist to non-whites.

  • @reinemarais4392
    @reinemarais4392 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Who is the Minister of Education? Why is nothing included in the curriculum of schools across the country to address social cohesion? Why, for THIRTY+ years has nothing been done about this? Apartheid was bad. I, as a white person, growing up in that era, detested it. Wounds have to heal. To perpetuate Apartheid in any form, be it repeating it, or continuing to cry 'foul' THIRTY years on gets us nowhere. Time to heal, people of South Africa. Accept that every person on planet Earth, irrespective of race, class, gender, ethnicity, economic status and ideology, we are all people on Earth, with equal opportunity. Once the corruption in government stops, there will be money available to build schools, improve education, build hospitals, improve healthcare, repair infrastructure and provide jobs. Whilst the government remains corrupt, there is no money to do any of this.

    Racism is still there and it's still an issue,I work in Northwest Potchefstroom this place still has that to a point where if a customer has a problem they would rather be assisted by a white manager,a black person loses a particular item like a cellphone they are requested to go open a case and bring a case number just to get footage but to the other race it's a different story.

  • @wda_digital

    There was no racism at the school. The media and EFF blew the thing out of proportion. All 12 learners were found not guilty as there was no racism. Black people should stop being so touchy feely. We are all the same. Start realising that then you will see how much better it is.

      You're lying about not being racist... the fact that you are trying to discredit their case by projecting the blame on them shows that you don't feel remorse for what happened to those students. You should be ashamed.
      How is it their fault that they were being held in a cage and auctioned off like some animals?

      Don’t try to dilute this conversation by changing the subject. The subject is about the global problem of racism. For your information, as a south African, we love other Africans and don’t mind living with them in our country. What we hate through is LAWLESSNESS such as people coming into our country illegally in order to commit crimes. Thrashing our country and disrespecting citizens of this country. Unfortunately, Africans from our continent come here for the purpose of hurting South Africans by doing things here that are contrary to SA law and our culture. Blacks from US when they come here they love and appreciate us, obeying the laws, loving & appreciative of our country, not thrashing our inner cities and making them dangerous and hostile to black South Africans. You can call it what you like including xenophobia, afrophobia, COMING INTO OUR COUNTRY FOR THE PURPOSE of committing crime is UNACCEPTABLE to us South Africa and this is NO longer tolerated. Why are they not loving their countries and stay in them like we do as South Africans. I can’t imagine myself living anywhere in the world EXCEPT LIVING HERE IN SA. Please don’t bother us, WE DID NOT LIBERATED OURSELVES TO BE HARASSED BY SILLY PEOPLE FROM AFRICA who don’t value themselves and their countries

    Still!?
    Humanity must get a grip with itself.
    We are all humans and all deserve to be treated with respect and equally.
    The most difficult thing for humans to do is to truly forgive.
    True Forgiveness is a godly gift and blessing.....be more forgiving. It makes you stronger and a shining energy to others and
    It is wonderfully contagious.

    We are a very reactive society, we only going to make noise about all this social ills because of the incidents, when they blow over, it’s going to be continuation of business as usual. If we can make this a priority and deal with it daily like any other matter, then we are able to measure if we making progress or not #it has to be an ongoing process, as we have to start by undoing what what done, heal, only then start working from that clean slate. Any other way or short cut isn’t going to bear desired positive results/ outcome. And we need to start now.
