The location was chosen because it is at the end of Rians rd next to rail line and could not be placed further east because of freeway over pass and entrance into east pakenham stabling yard and with the thousands of homes going up east of it to make it work.
Its because of the new Pakenham east suburbs being built on east side of Rians Road with about which will stuff Pakenham. About 13000 homes to be built
