My husband is an historical restoration contractor and in Old House terminology that is called a classic case of "TMF" ("The Mushroom Factor"). It's when you rip out one thing and then find out there's half a dozen hidden problems that have sprouted up practically overnight but in reality have been there for decades. And many times each of those half dozen items have "mushroomed" into other sundry problems.
What a HUGE BLESSING y'all we're helping them out like this. I pray that the Lord blesses you abundantly for your kindness!

You are our kind of people too. Oh Oh Oh we miss you. We teared up through most of it. We love you. Oh how we love you and your sweet sweet family. We torn out the part of the floor that Ben fell through and boarded it up for now. We had to get rid of the creepy crawlers. We will have to tell you about the joists in the living room. Yes will will be doing them over but we will just level the ones they have because they are newer and in good shape just put together really uneven. Counting the days until October. Did you get a campground?
We miss you so much too!! Everyday, we usually have a “at Jim and Rhenda’s” moment of memories with you. ❤️ We did get a spot at the campground and I can’t wait to see you in a few short weeks!!
As I listen to your kid's story I can not help but to see God's hand in everything that took place.... If you kids had not had the problems with the truck and everything and y'all had meant up with them at the time you had planned, then a year down the road when they were going to need your help y'all would not have been there...
Things happen in our lives for reasons unknown to us at the time, but further down the road it all works out because God has everything in our lives timed out and if we listen to HIM and follow HIS Direction everything works out not only to bless us, but for us to be able to bless others and y'all were a big blessing to them.
God knew they were going to need help and you had the skills, the knowledge, and the know how to help them. God also knew that your loving hearts would be willing to help them.
So I see how God put you where you needed to be at the right time. I love seeing God working that way people's lives...
Yes I truly believe that if we listen, God will put us where we needed at the right time.
In my 58 years of life so far I seen God do that in my life many times over. I have also scene where God put the right people in my life at the right time to help me through a situation...
You kids are blessed beyond measure and I love seeing it. Keep on sharing your story. I love watching your videos...

It was all God's doing- orchestrating you all meeting up. He knew what Jim and Rhenda's needs were, and sent you all there to help out. What a community, God's family, Awesome!!! And it seems that Ben was in his "Happy Place", rolling up his sleeves and not afraid to get his hands dirty and not afraid of work. God knew Ben's needs and yours and the kids needs as well. How Awesome!!!
Yes!! That's exactly how we feel. We keep saying over and over again and we were SUPPOSED to meet them, even a year after missing the chance it worked out.

How cool is it that Gods blessing happen in unexpected ways?! Who knows what damage was being done or could have been done in future if you guys hadn't discovered it and what a extra blessing the people who had the knowledge and energy and time could commit yourselves to helping them. I don't believe things like that happen on accident.
