My poor old 580 theatrette no longer functions; thanks for putting this up here. I miss that Conn sound. (It was my grandmother's and it was willed to me.)
Lovely instrument also with the optional sets of pipes as extras to take the brass section as they had a full set of ranks £4800 new for the 580 in 1972 had to wait for a second hand one just a shame they don't gain a value like vintage cars !!
This is truly the 580 at its best.

I regret selling some of my instruments over the years, and absolutely, they most certainly don’t appreciate!

I'd swap my Hammond X66 for a good Conn 580 or Lowrey DSO/ DSO1.
All incredibly expensive and sought after in their day. Sadly getting old and difficult to maintain now, like most of their owners I suspect!😂
