Every truck body i looked at today at miller ford truck i checked out that i liked had water inside of body doors, Even at Causeway ford had leaking bodies, Would you want to spend $ on a body that leaks ? Doors latches made cheap in rear, easily get caught on clothing exiting truck. Cheap lightweight metal. Door seals not sealing. They are cutting corners for sure.
Have owned and worked it of service body trucks for 40 years as a finish carpenter. Sad to see them lower their standards with lap over seams,not welded? Put the automotive style gaskets back on the door jambs and ditch those automotive style hinges. So disappointed.
Stay away 1000 YARDS from Reading CSV , the doors fly open, the auto lock actuators break almost immediately, door handles don't shut correctly and easily , you gotta slam the shit out of them and they still fly open and all your tools fly all over the road, Reading Warrantee department a JOKE, they have no one reliable in PA to do warranty work correctly. The back door hinge shock always falling off continuously, the locks can easily be drilled out with cordless screw gun and they pop right open, had to do it cause their junk auto lock system failed. WILL NEVER BUY READING AGAIN. for 15K buy any other brand, their auto locking system is 10000% GARBAGE, and don't let the aluminum body sell you, You will not save any $ in fuel I still get 9 miles per gallon w/ 2017 chevy 2500 express, and I get 10 miles gallon 2010 duel wheel box truck, so what that tell you? we drive like the gas pedal is an egg too.
Why have roll up door on the driver side
(to avoid traffic), if the other 2 boxes have doors that swing into the traffic ? 🤷
