No Airflow? Myth Busted! | NZXT H5 Elite Gaming PC Build | Intel ARC A770 | i7 13700K, ASUS ROG Z690

Following on from my last build in the excellent H5 Flow, I wanted to focus another build on the new H5 series from NZXT, this time with the H5 Elite. Having built in multiple H510 Elites over the last year, it was educating for myself to film this video and see just how much those few upgrades and changes have affected the thermal performance of the chassis.
Ultimately, adding space for a 240mm radiator up on top is a game change for the Elite series. Keeping the front airflow derestricted coupled up with that angled base fan has allowed far more airflow to pass through dropping those crucial GPU temps. What's more, the vent holes on the side of the casing are much bigger than the previous H510, again allowing more air to pass through.
It goes without say that the H5 Flow passes more air throughout the case than the Elite, thus keeping your hardware cooler but using the hardware I chose for this build, I wouldn't complain at all. Would I recommend the Elite for somebody running a hot graphics card such as the 3090 / 4090 with a Ryzen 7000 series? Probably not. You should consider the Flow instead. But for those who are not running extremely hot hardware, the Elite should tick all of the boxes with excellent improvement over the last gen!
It's also still early days testing the Intel ARC A770 and so far I've been blown away by the performance in gaming (relative to the price point) and the thermals have been on par too!

I've always liked the NZXT look. Even their rgb fan implementation is subtle, understated and classy. Now that performance is on par with looks, it's a no brainer.
Always a good job with your videos. Love the airflow test, it really has me thinking about how I will position fans in my next build.

First off, you've nailed the perfect aesthetic for your videos and your builds. Such high quality cinematography and the builds are so clean. Not to mention you show great visualization of airflow so that anyone looking to grab one of these cases can get a better idea of what they are building in. Secondly, I dig this case. Clean looks and the GPU fan is a nice touch. And lastly, I'm loving the look of these new Intel GPUs! Clean with understated RGB to set it off. All together, this made for a solid build!

There’s no right or wrong way to remove the plastic cover… just make sure that your CPU is always planted on the socket before you remove it to ensure nothing damages the pins ☺️ also, appreciate your comment and support my friend 🙌

Amazing video! Thanks for your time creating this. I have one Q about the top mounted radiator exhaust. If the graphic card is running hot inside the case, wouldn't it be pulling hot hair up into the radiator? Therefore, making the CPU run hotter? I always thought that but I could be wrong.
