Allowing bigamy justified based on ex parte divorce is not wise decision. Unless respondent heard personally, no further order of decision either at trial or appalant stage shall be passed. The concept of audi alterm partem is vitiated.

Yes it's allowed , but Maintenance laws would render it impractical and you could take a financial hit.....
Crpc 125 maintenance law is a civil secular law...in such a scenario your 1st wife can file for maintenance , divorce and alimony ...based on mental harassment owing to your 2nd marriage and trust me...lower courts are very impractical , mechanical and often very harsh on men...
Galti kisi ki bhi ho agar divorce(contested) hoga to paisa husband ko hi dena padega wife ko...wife ko even once -twice adultery bhi allowed hai (but live-in nahi)...
