Her murder happened just a month or two before I came to Gozo where I now live. The dark shadow of her death has blighted politics since then, leaving many people distrustful of the present politicians who are taking sooooo long to clear it up once and for all. Corruption is still rife and acceptable. A friend in business was told (last December) in a conversation with the mayor of the town I live in and the minister of Gozo that they do not care what the law says, they do what they want.
