Sir I am sure Your Soul, Mind, Body everything is dedicated to chemical engineering. And You must have been so proud when you saw the Haber's reactor! It is my privilege to learn from you. It would be an honour to meet you in person or to work under you.

Sir, I am working for more than 8 years for Process Design and evaluation in an Indian engineering company. Thank you for clearly explaining my role in the big picture. Really proud to be a Chemical Engineer.

Product sales and economics are the most important part of chemical engineering. Economics especially in product and process development is not a person coming home to sell soap.He or she has to be smart and soft skills alone will not make him successful.

He mentioned economics some 17 times. "Economics especially in product and process development is not a person coming home to sell soap.": when did he ever say that?

    • @uddiptanath6055

process economics is different and sales is different. There is an extra subject in chemical engineering called plant design and economics and Those who are involved in plant designing, i.e. design of a pilot plant or an actual/'ultimate plant needs to have knowledge on both chemical engineering and economics. BUT product sales is completely different. He meant that sales doesn't require deep and complex technical knowledge, an overview or brief knowledge is sufficient, instead they require communication skills, business and management skills. And yes, can't be compared to selling soaps. He suddenly went off topic. But I am sure he doesn't mean what he said. It sound little bit different.
